distance between screws

Already have holes from existing doorbell at 2 1/4" apart and would like to use the same holes for the new bell.

I got a new IQ American wired chime and then the old button broke so I need a wired button that will work with it.

Answer: 
Yes, it should work. Please check if your chime requires a diode for proper operation. If it does, please install per the mfg instructions. If you do not have a diode, you may only get a single note from the chime.
