If you really work at it, you could probably succeed at cutting your foot with the pressurized water, but this doesn't happen often. Because this is a small machine you will find it harder to etch a finish or break a wire, but it is still capable. Use common sense and do not allow the full force of the spray to hit your work until you are comfortable you can control the wand. I use it to wash windows, but I am careful. Read Less

There is a shutoff switch and a fuel valve which is also a choke. Both must be set to start it. Mine always starts on the first pull.

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 103 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Washer leaked like a sieve. Box was very beat up and dented at the store, but it was the only one left, so I reluctantly purchased it. Brought it home, set it up, and filled it with oil and gas. Once I started it, the pump leaked like a sieve because the manufacturer apparently forgot to install the gasket. The "funny" part was there was a QC sticker right next to the leak. September 19, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good home use pressure washer I would have likely given this an excellent rate had an "O" ring in the wand not have been faulty. My first use was excellent, but the 2nd and 3rd I was getting soaked by leakage from the wand and assumed that I didn't tighten the connections adequately. After finally figuring out that it was the ring, HD gave me a box of them and the unit worked fine. The unit rolls well, is light enough to carry up and down stairs but well built. Starts with one pull - so far. I bought this over the Ryobi because that green color was going to drive me nuts. I recommend the Power Care Turbo Nozzle, with out it, you kill much more time and water. March 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Over 2 years of use, not 1 single issue. I have had this unit for over 2 years now. I have used it to clean my driveway (24x96) my rear deck (132x16) and my patio (32x24). I used the EZ Clean 15" Surface Cleaner and I have had absolutely NO problems. Turned my driveway, which I am certain has NEVER been washed since it was poured, to an almost white color. My Rear deck/patio was treated cypress, which was almost black in color. This setup cleaned it to almost new. Since then (summer of 2013) I have used it to clean the siding on my home, and a few others. I've cleaned 4 other driveways, and a small parking lot in front of a bar (20 car spaces). No count on how many times Ive used it to wash vehicles and tractors, well more than 10 times. NOT ONE SINGLE ISSUE. I check the O-Rings every now and then, they seem to be holding up pretty well. Even if that did go bad, it's a generic piece that SHOULD be replaced when bad. I thought of replacing the hose with another, longer one, but havent yet. Sorry to read bad reviews from other people. I have not had any of their situations arise. I have over 50 hours of use, and do not see issues to come up before I double, or triple that time. June 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Vendor Item #529760 UT80546 3000 PSI Gas Pressure Washer(Homelite machine, nonbranded engine) Purchased this product from Home Depot Internet. For a couple of summers I used this washer some around my home & it worked great. However, last summer before I used it I decided to change the spark plug before starting it. That was a mistake on my part because the threads stripped when I tried to replace with a new plug apparently because of a defective head on the engine. I didn't do anything with the machine until last week. I'm 83 so I got my grandson to take it to a very reputable repair shop to see if they could rebore the spark plug hole or replace the engine head. The technician looked at the machine & was very apologetic. He said I'm very sorry Mr. Cook but we can't repair your machine & when I asked him why he said that the Engine was not a branded item like a Honda or some other name brand but was what they considered an "Asian Variant"& you cant get parts for it. Its thrown together with all kinds of stuff. I was surprised that The Home Depot would sell this kind of equipment. March 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst power tool ever Came out of the box with a leaking gasket. Hard to start. Will not keep running. Numerous bad gaskets. Authorized service provider was unprofessional and slow. April 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The power to clean This product has the power to clean what ever you want. It was easy to put together and up and running in a few minutes. It started on the first start and worked just like it was supposed to. The quick change tips are great to use, you can change between projects in just seconds. I first used it to clean the the outside of my house and it worked great getting the dirt and mold off immediately. May 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Attention To Details Very well thought pressure washer. It has nice onboard storage for the assortment of nozzles, quick start instructions on the handle for those of us with short memories, nice storage for the wand and hose, a large fuel tank and a fuel shut-off valve that you can use when you store the washer. Assembly took just a few minutes and it was ready to use. Put the wheels and handle on, add oil and you are ready. It starts easily. Always on the second pull and has really good pressure - It cleaned dripped paint from my driveway that my old washer wouldn't clean. Be careful using the zero degree nozzle. So much pressure it cut a small groove in the driveway when I held it too close. The quick change nozzles are great and can be changed quickly with the quick coupling on the end of the wand. Overall a fantastic pressure washer that I highly recommend. May 19, 2013
