This is a great little vacuum. It's very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I didn't really want a bagless vacuum since most are so messy to empty, but this one has a button that releases the bottom of the canister - no shaking dust everywhere. I LOVE that. The compact design is nice and I like the function of the handle being the wand. I mainly have textured area rugs and hardwood floors. I don't use the vacuum on my hardwoods, but it works very well on my rugs. The only couple of things I wish it had was a light (my house is so dark) and a bigger cord holder since the cord is nice and long. I'm very happy with this product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by karina Lightweight, easy to operate, works well
I am so happy I found this vacuum and so thankful for all the reviews left by others. Worth every penny. When I moved into a new place, my mom gave me her old vacuum for my carpets, but it was way too heavy to vacuum the stairs. I am very petite and needed something lightweight that I could maneuver without breaking my back up the stairs. We have a low-shag carpet and I used the "bare floor" setting the first time, then switched to "medium carpet". For the higher carpet, the medium setting worked better. It did okay on my wood floors downstairs, it left some stuff behind, but picked up lots of dirt/dust. I prefer to get the broom and dustpan out. It was easy to operate the different functions (hose, dumping of canister). It does let out of a lot of hot air, so would probably be unpleasant to use on a hot day. Not sure if this is typical of vacuums or not. Be prepared if you peel off the stickers, they are not easy peel off, and leave a mess. Goo Gone works well if you don't want stickers all over your vacuum.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Loyal Hoover Owner Great vacuum but short hose
My original Hoover still works well, but after becoming partially disabled, I need lightweight vacuums for both up and downstairs, as I can no longer carry nor easily operate the old heavy one. I bought 2 Sprint™ QuickVacs and have been very happy with pickup performance, maneuverability and ease of use! The bummer is the short hose which I didn't think would be an issue due to clever handle/wand design, but it is. I was able to buy a Hoover long hose attachment for my Wind Tunnel years ago, but the QuickVacs don't have a longer hose to buy, just same-size replacement. This problem means requiring help to drag the old heavy when needing hose/attachment cleaning. I'm hoping Hoover will soon offer a longer hose purchase option, and would buy 2 for my new QuickVacs, just like I did for my heavy Wind Tunnel. I suspect other customers would like a longer hose also, as Amazon reviews listed this issue. Not sure if I wish I'd bought differently, as I really like the lightweight ease-of-use, handy maneuvering and good suction/power, but I also definitely need the longer hose attachment option, as the QuickVac standard is just too short to be functional for me, even with the helpful handle/wand design.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nita The Sprint is just what I have been looking for.
The Sprint picks up cat fur with ease but doesn't try to devour my area rugs. I inadvertently over filled the canister but it didn't lose suction. The tools are great.
It is a relief to be able to vacuum several rooms without getting exhausted. The smaller width of the nozzle allows it to fit between pieces of furniture without moving anything. The canister couldn't be easier to empty.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by matpac1 Great vacuum for the price
I bought this because I didn't want to purchase an expensive vacuum. This is a lightweight vacuum and does a good job on my carpet and hardwood floors. Its small yet very powerful. There are very few attachments and the canister has to be emptied every couple times of use. It tells you when it needs to be emptied. I do not have any real complaints about this to be honest. I would say if you need a basic vacuum cleaner with the nice fancy bagless filters...this is the one for almost half the price of others.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by csc723 Good vacuum with a couple flaws
I've had this vacuum for about month and like it overall. The cord is long enough for large rooms and while the suction may not be the best, it does the job well enough and picks up most dirt and hair. It's pretty lightweight and easy to carry up and down stairs. I was initially concerned about having to pull out the handle every time I wanted to use it as a hose, but after a couple times I'm able to quickly convert it within a few seconds. It does not stretch 7 feet as advertised, but it's still a handy feature. The vacuum does rely on a lot of buttons to keep everything in place and so far none of them have failed. The canister is on the smaller side but is convenient to remove and empty. There are a few cons: you really have to push down hard on the vacuum to recline it. I'm worried sometimes I'll break the thing or dent the floor. Also, the dial to adjust the floor settings is tight. Not so easy to maneuver while you're vacuuming. Finally, after only a few uses the wheels have been squeaking, especially on carpet. It's so loud you can hear it over the vacuum. For the price though, this vacuum is a good deal, and I like the variety of things you can do with it.

I returned the quickvac because it had very poor suction power, and I had to go over the floor multiple times before it was totally clean.
