Answer:
I didn't know there were doors to open. Only holes to enter into (or not)...Perhaps that's my problem; Maybe I should call a locksmith?

Answer:
No doors; slots. I'd recommend cutting across the top and bending the plastic flaps back to make access easier, but keep the traps out of the reach of kids & animals.

I can not answer your question exactly, but can say I have purchased them and used only half or less, and used of the remainder MORE than 6 mos. later and they seemed to be as effective as the very first ones I used months before last spring !

MaxAttrax Roach Bait (12-Count) is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value pack Bought these for a rental property and they are working great. Easy to use, just snap the tab, set them where you have a problem, cabinets, under sinks, behind the fridge, sheds, bathroom, anything near water most likely because they have to have water. Hot Shot also makes a liquid formula that works great as well. I put all twelve out over 1000 sq ft living area and they are working great. For just over 5 bucks I am very pleased. There is a tab you have to pull off to let the roaches get to the bait. Kills both the roach and any eggs they are carrying.
