No, sorry. It is not hinged like that, but you might replace the hinges with something they have in-store.

Nope. The angle of the molded hinges prevent it from opening more than what's shown in the photo.

Yes, it will lay flat but it would need to be propped or supported to hold much weight.

Would like to put everything in one case instead of several I have for my other RC parts and tools. Also has anyone found a source for a foam insert that can be custom cut or with removable blocks of foam?

Yes it works great. The original styrofoam that came with the original package your drone came with fits securely in the box.

Yes, Drnes in SC did a nice video that shows the few cuts you need to make to allow the Q500 to fit with props attached. Just go to You Tube and search Drones in SC

I do not know about a Drone but, I do have four full sized ammo boxes and one 1/2 size ammo box with enough head room for 4 pistol cases on top of them. you might want to go to a Home Depot and actually measure the inside.

Yes. Everything fits including the controller, charger, and some tools. You have to cut away the foam packing that came with the Q500 so you don't have to remove the blades.

Answer:
There is a support rod in the back that keeps the lid from collapsing instead of a set of straps fastened to the lid and base as in the larger (37in/50gal) version of this Job box.
The rod isn't removable, or at least doesn't look like it should be removed!

Answer:
Yes, it is great for carrying tools but you should design some type of separations on the inside. There are several options for sizes some deeper, longer or shorter and more compact. I would go inside a store as they keep many selections. Much nicer than the old styles that I was afraid that was all I had to pick from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This box holds all my stuff for my Typhoon G quadcopter I was looking for a way to carry all the stuff for my Typhoon G. It holds all the batteries, the controller, the wind meter, flight log, battery checker, battery chargers, extra props, back pack with all the cameras in it. It is light and easy to carry with the handle bar and wheels. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can hold lots of tools I was able to get my circular saw, square, level, tool belt with hammer, tool bag, small ratchet and wrench set, 25 foot extension cord, and hammer drill in this box. It sure helped to clean up my truck bed. Great Product!!

Could have paid a lot more for something I did not need. It has the durability and mobility that meets my needs to a tee.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Husky 25 Gal Job box It needs access grips (places to hold) when someone wants to pick up the unit. Such as loading onto a truck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice mobile toolbox Pretty straightforward mobile tool chest. I use it to move around outdoor and sporting gear, not tools. Quite handy. I find the power cable cord passthrough on the lid to be well thought out. I like the removable tray/organizer for smaller items. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the area to attach a padlock. It is rather slim plastic. I'd imagine you could cut the padlock off with a pocket knife in about 10 seconds. Reinforce that point with steel and you have a 5 star box!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not so tuff box Got this for my power tools so I have everything in one case to roll on to the job site. The lid on this box is weak and flimsy. You can't put any heavy items on top of when transporting(it bends out of shape), The "hinge" is weak at best.. came in bent. Other than that, great large tool box holds 16 of my cordless tools and a charging station. One trip from the truck to the job site and I have all I need,

While the box is roomy and very functional, there are a couple of improvements that we noticed it could use. The wheels are weak and do not look like they will last long. We are already looking for replacements. The locking point allows too much accessibility once the latches are opened. We are looking into modifying the locking point. Otherwise we are pleased with these boxes we ordered.
