Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fix case with a heat gun easily Once you add the included nipple hose fittings to the tools, the tools won't fit in the case, but this is EASY to fix. You'll need a Ryobi (or other) heat gun. (set it to 500 degrees if it's adjustable). Put the nipples on each tool, lay the tool in place, remove tool, heat area where nipple goes for 10-15 seconds, insert tool and press down. Let it cool for about 2 minutes and move on to the next tool. The only tool that this won't work with is the ratchet. You'll have to drill that one all the way through the case so the nipple sticks out of the side of the case about 1/2 inch. I'm not sure, but I may have been able to heat the plastic inside and outside of the case for this one and been able to push it out...maybe. I drilled it and it works fine. It took 15 minutes to fix the case for all of the tools. I haven't been able to use the tools yet, but this is a stupid oversight in the case design. They could have done this during manufacturing (except for the ratchet). -1 for the case. The tool quality looks good. December 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Case is useless, Tools are okay The tools only fit in the case until you attach the inlet nipples to them. These nipples are meant to be permanently installed in the tools. A wrench is required to install or remove the nipples. For some bizarre reason the tools literally do not fit in the case after you assemble them for use. Since the case was a main selling point for me; the tools not fitting into it is a huge letdown. Huge. The tools are good for occasional use. This is a good shade-tree or DIY tool kit. Especially for the price. February 18, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Useless case, nice tools The tools seem fine but the case is useless once the quick connect fittings are installed in the tools. Whatever product manager was in charge of this should be fired. Sure the case has places to store the quick connect fittings but what good is a quick connect fitting if you have to remove it (using a wrench) from the tool each time you want to put the tool in the case? It's a nice looking case and would be a really nice way to store and carry the tools BUT THE TOOLS DON'T FIT. I'm dumbfounded. See the picture. February 27, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tools seem nice CASE IS USELESS Real all the other reviews what they say about the case is true. August 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Basic DIY First of all, I'm not a professional mechanic. Therefore, I don't need crazy expensive air tools that are built to take a beating every day of their lives. I do, obviously, want the best tool I can buy without sacrificing dinner for the next two weeks. I bought this air tool kit a week ago, and have done some work with them since. I don't see myself using the air hammer or the rotary grinder very often, but the impact and ratchet will see regular use (3-4 times a month). The impact had no problems pulling off the lug nuts on my Toyota Tundra or the woman's Kia Sorento. That's pretty much the main purpose of the impact for me. The ratchet, I use for pretty much anything else. The ratchet had no problems pulling out the bolts for my skid plate on my truck (only thing I've used it for so far). I would recommend this air tool kit to anyone that needs to start out and looking for something basic. BTW, I'm running these tools on my home compressor which feeds 5.1cfm@90psi. February 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great deal for what you get Great little air gun set. Everyone complains about the tools not fitting into the case after attaching the hose fittings. I installed my hose fittings and then took my utility knife and cut out the case to fit them in about 2 minutes. Now they fit in the case just fine. Very happy with my purchase. Used it several times and it really speeds things up. September 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by great value Great Value for Home Use Applications but not large enough torque rating for more than general home and light duty automotive work. May 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Kit for the Enthusiast Pros: The kit contained more than I honestly expected. Had some basic standard impact sockets, grinder tools and even a quick-connect female adapter for your existing hose. While I have not used all of the tools, I can say that for an active homeowner like myself, these handle any house-hold job well. Cons: The safety mechanism on the cutting tools is a bit.. awkward. I understand the need for such a safety, but, when in a hurry, it tends to stick a bit and requires more attention each time I hit it than I wish. And... THE CASE. Someone already commented on it... but... someone VERY unfamiliar with air tools must have designed it considering: once you attach the quick-connect male adapters to the tools, they no longer fit in the case rendering the case nearly useless, as it now only holds the wrenches and sockets and NOT the 4 tools. And, after doing some cutting/drilling/grinding you CAN cut into the case to make them fit (the ratchet's connecter actually sticks OUT of the case) but it makes the case cheesy. May 25, 2013
