Answer:
I have the same problem with my 6gal Porter-Cable pancake compressor (not the best), so I use a beaker bar when needed. My compressor only delivers 2.6@90psi. Still this thing saves me a ton of ratcheting especially in smaller spaces and is great to have.

Answer:
You need a larger compressor. There is not enough air in the6 gallon compressor to sustain the power for more than a couple seconds and the compressor does not contain a high flow regulator. Therefore to compressor would never be able to deliver 90 PSI to the tool. Get at least a 20 gallon compressor. Set the regulator gauge at 105. This will allow for the pressure drop from the 25 or 50' x 3/8" hose. Read More

Answer:
Your pancake compressor probably doesn't provide enough air flow. The air flow is measured in SCFM (Standard Cubic Feet per Minute). This impact wrench requires 4 SCFM at 90 psi. Most pancake compressors are designed for low volume tools like nail guns and flow less than 3 SCFM at 90 psi. If you are running a long hose, that may restrict the flow even more.

It's rated at 300ft/lbs. The manual says you should use a 3/8" I.D. hose that is no longer than 25 ft. Also, you need a compressor that can supply 90 psi at 4 cfm.

I'm pretty sure you can't get a replacement case. But, I'll bet there's someone else who bought one and realized they could not fit the tools with the nipples on them and then threw away the case. Too bad you can't find one of those people. Maybe they would post a response here for you. The case can be fixed to fit them with nipples using a heat gun as I described in my review below.

You might look for some other plastic case someone is getting rid of and use a heat gun to custom fit these tools. It probably won't be perfect, but should hold them. Good luck. Read Less

Make sure your regulator is set at 90 - 95 psi. Oil the impact before each use with about 5 - 7 drops of air tool oil. I had a problem with lug nuts. First lug nut came off fine, then it would not budge the rest. I had set the regulator to 95 PSI (allowing for drop). When I looked at the regulator it was on 50 PSI. I readjusted back to 95 PSI and it brought all of the lug nuts off with ease. Most Read More

4-Tool Air Tool Kit is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for the money The kit came wit everything needed, even thread tape, BUT, the box was not designed to keep the quick-release connectors on the tools. Otherwise, a fantastic set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good starter set This is a good starter set for your weekend mechanic. The case is great until you put the hose fittings on the end of the tools then they no longer fit in the case. I think it might be a good idea to redesign the case so it can be used with the hose fittings installed. I made a few modification on my case and it works now.

Once you put the fittings on forget trying to store it back in it's case. If you design something with a case make sure everything fits they way it's supposed to. I was very disappointed.
