Living with 2 women, this it becomes a must have product to keep your drains clean. Product works superbly well. Once every few months when I see the tub starting to back up, one overnight treatment of this and everything is back to normal

My child decided to help cleaning up after making chicken soup and put the chicken carcass several stalks of celery and carrots down the garbage disposal resulting in an instant clog I was unable to snake the clog even using the outside clean out port as the clog appeared to be past the port. I went to Home Depot and the clerk said the only thing that will work is the Instant Power which I thought I will try as in the past no liquid drain cleaner has ever worked for me. I poured half the bottle into the clean-out port closed it waited over night then poured 12 cups of boiling water down the drain and it flowed perfectly. Unbelievable!

By the end of my shower Id have water almost up to my knees. It would take almost 2 hours for the water to go down.
-tried a snake thingy w.thorns on it. Figured hair was clogging the drain as my sis and I share this shower. Thorn thingy Came back clean so we were even more confused!
Googled chemical products for clogged shower drains and this popped up! I was sold by the reviews!!
AMAZING. Got the big gallon and i figured if it didn't work i would return it! (My bf worked at Home Depot and told me they take returns even if it's opened.)
Directions say 2 Cups For showers however I eye-balled it until the liquid reached the top of the drain. Covered the top drain to prevent lye explosion. Let it sit for 24 hrs. Flushed it with 2 kettles of Boiled water.
I didn't hear the WHOOSH as many have said so i was disappointed thinking it didn't work but did notice the hot water going down easily!
Showered just now and it's back to normal!!!!! :) water is going down perfectly!!! No more knee high water showers!
I recommend this to anyone! IT WORKS!

We had a very slow drain for few days. It was driving me crazy. I was afraid of using any chemical, but no hair snare worked and even made it worse. I searched for a drain opener, found this and even though I was skeptical, we bought it and it worked perfectly. We poured about half of the bottle and after 5 hours we had an even cleaner drain.

When using this product, you must be very patient! It took me two days to see results, and one 33.8 oz. Hair and Grease (H&G) bottle.
Here is my situation:
• Bathtub was completely clogged-nothing was getting thru.
• I first tried unclogging it with the RIDGID Kwik-Spin snake, but that was a total waste of money. It was not very sturdy and would not go past the “blockage point”.
• Then I tried using a plunger, but the only result was this stinky black liquid squirting back out of the drain.
• I read the reviews on H&G and thought I would give it a try since they offer a money back guarantee.
o I poured half of the bottle into the drain and waited 8 hours before pouring hot water over the drain.
o The water did not drain, so I decided to give it a few more hours, 12 hours.
o After the 12 hours, I tried using the plunger again.
Before using the plunger, make sure you seal the overflow cap with tape. CAUTION – make sure you are careful that the liquid that squirted out of the drain when using the plunger does not touch your skin/eyes.
o After 10 minutes of using the plunger, I used a large towel to absorb all of the liquid that was in the tub.
o Once all the liquid was absorbed, I poured the rest of the H&G liquid over the drain and the overflow.
o I waited 1 hour before pouring ½ gal. of boiling water over the drain, but the water did not drain.
o I walked away and waited about two more hours before going back to check.
o When I went back to check, the water had gone down the drain.
o After I did my happy dance, I poured 2 gal. of boiling water over the drain.
o I waited for about 1 minute and then I heard a big gulp coming from the drain.
o A second later, the water started going down the drain!
This product is everything it promises to be! It is the best and most economical product I have ever used!
