I just installed this toilet in my home & it was one of the easiest home improvement/repairs I have ever done. Look up the YouTube videos & you can't go wrong. As many have said, get a better wax seal (with a collar $5.00) & a longer water line (20 inch - they don't come standard). I also upgraded to a better wooden toilet seat (for $25.00) than the cheapo plastic one that came with it. Here's my simple assessment: uses less water, flushes instantly & completely, refills in a very short time, is very quiet & doesn't clog. Keep a brush next to the toilet for the very few times you will need it. I don't think I'll ever need a plunger again. Looooove it!! Best of all, it's plumber recommended. Don't even hesitate - Kohler is the best.

This Kohler toilet is amazing. It is also reasonably priced, readily available, and easily installed. I ordered it on-line at 8am, my installer picked it up at 11am, and it was in my home and whooshing by 1:30. This low-flow Kohler handles everything; it is a comfortable height and attractive. My only negative is about the cheap plastic toilet seat that comes with it. If you have a round toilet seat you love, swap it out and recycle the included one. Otherwise, this Kohler toilet is fantastic!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Phantom17 Great throne
I initially wanted a toto, but my wife wanted the toilet replaced right away so there was no time to wait to order. I purchased this toilet based on the reviews, and I couldn't be happier. The flush is very powerful, and the bowl stays very clean. The flush mechanism appears to be very well made and durable. I haven't even had the lightest trouble with clogs. The install was very easy. I think the thing that I like most about this toilet is the fact that there are no bolts passing through the tank that could potentially leak. This toilet instead has a bracket underneath that hold the bolts. Very easy ton install with no risk of leaks. Overall I would definitely purchase this toilet again, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality throne at a moderate price point.

Having shopped on line I went to my local Home Depot to decide on two replacement toilets for my townhouse. A plumber in the aisle near me observed my moving between the Kohler and American Standard options. He remarked: "You can't go wrong with either one." He was right. I got one of each. This round-seat Cimmaron fits perfectly in my small first-floor lavatory. It works perfectly, using little water but a lot of power to move everything, every time. I'm completely satisfied.

If your house is 50 years old check your rough-in. This was an excellent quality toilet but unfortunately our rough-in was 14" so it was 3" away from the wall. There was only one option for this, had to go with the Toto as it is the only one that comes with a unifit 14" rough-in. Unfortunately it was well over double the price but it worked.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CatMama I love this toilet!
This toilet is so great that I find myself inviting the neighbors in to see it! It is not only beautiful, but fits my guest bathroom perfectly. It replaced an old toilet that had to be flushed three or four times to make everything go down, and which was a major water waster. I love it that the Cimarron flushes quickly with so little water and with no clogs!
I didn't install it myself, but it didn't take long according to the handyman who did install it for me. I purchased it at a local Home Depot where an employee put it in the back of my car for me.
When I replace the toilet in my master bathroom, I will likely purchase this same toilet. I'm a happy camper and am pleased to recommend this Kohler Cimarron as an excellent product.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Charles Not up to Kohler Standards
I upgraded from 3 different 3.5 Gal toilets, using 2 Elongated and this Round design. The other two toilets were Elongated type, and had the standard bolts (3) through the tank attachment.
This Round type uses a newer bracket attachment system that is cumbersome and difficult to position; uses two long bolts to pull the tank/toilet gasket snug. Poor system IMHO.
The flush AquaFlush system is fair but, for some reason this particular system is not up to par as the similar system in the Kohler Elongated units.
This toilet does come with a Quick Release Seat but it is Not Slow or Easy Shut Seat.
It seems that since this is a Home Depot Spec seat that it uses a cheaper design and cheaper, skimpier parts.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dubs66 Good Till you plug it up
The toilet works well but has a MAJOR flaw that can't be overlooked or ignored. Eventually This toilet will get plugged up by someone and that's when the fun begins. Cancel all your plans for that day because your going to be working to get this thing unplugged for a good part of your day. The genius who thought it would be a good idea to use an oval style hole on the bottom of this toilet should also be the one designing a plunger for this thing. You cannot easily use a round plunger and get a good seal to plunge and you will most likely end up pretty wet from water shooting out of the bowl as you plunge because you CAN NOT get a round plunger to seal an oval hole! Kohler has no answers for this but they still keep using this stupid design! I used a snake but you can only get that in there so far. Today I actually had to take the whole toilet out to get this piece of junk unplugged. If Home Depot would take this thing back I would gladly pull it out of my house and replace it with anything with a round flush hole but I'm past the 90 day thing. Good luck! You've been warned!
