Wellworth Trip Lever in Polished Chrome is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 91.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This screws on COUNTERCLOCKWISE. It would be nice if it was mentioned somewhere on the package that this handle is secured using a nut that needs to be screwed on counterclockwise. I know it sounds silly but I was trying to screw the thing on for 5 minutes before I realized I had to screw it the other way. This isn't a product that really needs instructions but I seriously thought the threads were messed up on it. Would have given it 5 stars.

This is the 2nd lever I've had to buy for the toilet in the past 2 years. The plastic lever that attaches to the handle via the plastic nut is not very well made; it broke off this morning, so I had to replace it--again. I've had this toilet since 1995 and, until 2 years ago, never had a problem with the original lever. Kohler quality has deteriorated; this part should last a lot longer than 2 years (which explains why it only has a one-year warranty). Unless your toilet only uses this type of lever, stay away from buying this.

There is a huge variety of trip levers out there. From the Kohler site I was able to determine that my 20+ year old toilet was discontinued. However, this lever would fit my toilet model... NOT every Kohler toilet ever made! I've read reviews calling it expensive. At under $10 for an OEM part it is reasonable. Others have called it flimsy. My plastic lift arm turned color but the metal corroded metal swivel is what caused me to replace it.

I bought this same product a few months ago, it broke, and I had to replace it with another Kohler, because no other lever will fit. Cheap plastic that easily brakes. It negatively impacts the Kohler reputation for quality.

I'm female and have never done anything having to do with plumbing in my life. This was very EASY to install and took me less than five minutes. The key is to screw in the lug nut counterclockwise. (Kohler, I strongly suggest you put this info on the package instructions for us newbies). No tools are needed. I've saved myself a $75 plumbing visit and replaced the flapper as well. I replaced the same lever I've had for over 17 years. I'd buy and install this again.

The handle-trip lever came with no instructions, but I went on Kohler site to see instructions & they said to remove large plastic nut inside toilet that holds handle to tank by turning nut counterclockwise with a slip joint pliers. Tried that & broke the whole plastic piece off because it has clockwise thread to loosen it. 10 minute job turned into an hour.

Found what model I had from Kohler's website. Picked it up and son installed in no time. Works well, feels smooth. A little more expensive than most, thus only four stars.
