Product Overview

Klean-Strip Xylene can be used in place of Toluene to thin specified oil-based paint, lacquer, varnish, epoxy, adhesives and synthetic enamels when a slower rate of evaporation is desired. Xylene will also remove certain adhesives. Its an excellent clean-up solvent for tools and equipment immediately after use. This is not for sale in California.

Can this be used to remove spilled Zinnser shellac (Amber) from porcelain tile and brick?

For anyone else wondering, I called Zinsser and this will NOT work but Denatured alcohol will because it contains an ingredient base found in the shellac.

No, It will damage the finish, take your car to a good detail shop, they may be able to remove the PlastiDip. Mike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff. Brought this product to clean some parts, it worked well. Just as it says. All though I find the Ad misleading. Saying its non-toxic. Upon receiving it, the container states it is toxic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Xylene is in graffiti removers at about 50% of total In spray bottle, might be good for removing tags, graffiti, etc. Can mix with isoprophyl and acetone to be more of formula in graffiti removal formulas.
