Answer:
the body of the fan is plastic so it can be wiped clean with a cloth..the fan blades and inside according to instructions should be "vacuumed" with a dust attachment..you cannot take the back or front off to clean the blades..

Answer:
Just cleaned my old one, very easy to do. Two small screws hold cover face on, remove the screws and loosen tabs, comes right off. Used paper towels to clean fan blades and a small brush to clean front and back grills. Ten to fifteen minutes max.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 172 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This fan was a replacement for one that finally ceased to function. The original unit had been in constant (24/7) use for over 7 years and I sought out this brand and model to replace the spent unit. Working like a charm. October 25, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Returned it as it is too loud I purchased this brand and model as I have another one that is about 8 to 10 years old. I only use the slow setting and it (my old one) works great and is whisper quiet. I returned the new one I purchased in October 2016 because its low setting is too loud. I exchanged it for another and the 2nd one is too loud too so I returned it for a refund. As far as moving air is concerned, it works great but a fan is a fan. I also acknowledge that my desire to have a quiet fan may be a higher priority than people who just want a fan to move air. October 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not happy this item appears to be a return by a customer and was the only one on the floor October 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice quality for the price This is a no-nonsense fan. Very easy to use and blows a very large area creating nice air flow for a large space. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best fan on the market We have owned many fans. We have some on the patio and the camper. This one really circulates the air efficiently without being really loud and noisy. It clicks and locks into position, so you never have to get up and screw the sides into position because it is blowing all the air on the ground or up in the sky. It is light weight and sturdy. Best fan on the market! October 4, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisey Works fine but noisey. Gives ok air flow. But it is loud. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good fan My son loves this fan, he sleeps with fan on all year round October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 290 inch power cyclone fan The young lady behind the counter was very personable. The fan does the job! Very happy with it. September 27, 2016
