How do you clean it?

Take outside unplugged use garden hose to wash off wait a few days to dry out before plugging back in , Ours went through a 25ft flood cleaned it off waited for it to dry a couple of days plugged in and still working have had this fan and used everyday for 15 years

Why is the CFM not listed? Is it inferior?

It is a superior product. 3 speed and tilt fan allows directional air flow. I set on floor and directed slightly upward. Great product
