Desktop Mount with a Full Motion Dual Arm Mount Fits 10 to 30 in. Monitors/TVs is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Holds the monitor but hard to get level again if you move it. I use several monitors on my desk for different things and thought having one mounted and movable would organize my desk better and give me setup options. That part worked out ok but the function was not everything I hoped for in a stand. First off when I opened the box the thin plastic cord cover was broken on one end, about an inch and a half of one corner was laying in pieces. Not the end of the world so I hooked it up to mu desk. The install went fine and was straight forward. Once I had a 27" monitor attached I thought all was well until I tried to adjust out the slop when I moved the arm, you can't it just has a certain amount of play that you have to live with. If you fiddle with it and leave the monitor in one place then you can get it fairly level but if you move it to a new position then you get to start the whole process over. I also wish the arm was a bit longer, you can move the monitor around just not very far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly Adjustable, Not Full Motion, Broken Cable Channel Shield, No Instructions I chose to review this item as part of the Home Depot Seeds reviewers program because I have a 27" monitor that sits on a desk with precious real estate. When I recieved the product, it came in what could have been the original manufacturer packaging except for the fact that the internal packing material was ineffective in preventing the cable channel shield from getting broken. I discovered that there is infact different packaging which actually would have securely held each of the components in place preventing damage from movement. However, the use of such brittle material for a part that must inevitably endure flexing of the material during install and potentially during going forward during its product use cycle is disconcerting. This demonstrates a lack of effort on the place of the designer and the company as a whole on producing a quality product they can be proud to put their name on (which they do on the monitor mounting plate). In addition to the previous concerns, the product came only with a warranty printout. There were absolutely no instructions provided for assembly of the product for review. For this reason, despite my prior expertise which enables me to assemble it without the instructions, I must give this product a one star rating as an average consumer should not be expected to make the intended use of the product. I give 2 out of 5 bars for quality since the monitor mounting arm, plate and level are constructed of durable power-coat painted metal. Value I give 3 out of 5 for the mostly metal construction and the comparatively low cost of the item versus competing mounts of similar capability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy basic mount but poor instructions. Upon opening the box, one can be a little overwhelmed by the full box of screws, bolts, nuts and washers. Since it only takes four screws to attach the screen to the mount, most of the screws/bolts are for different types of screens and will not be used. The assembly of the arm is somewhat self-explanatory which is good because the instructions are leave a lot to the imagination. Actually, there aren’t any written instructions, just a small sheet with pictures. Adjusting the height requires removing the screen, and arm. There are two bolts that can be loosened to make the adjustment but these are behind the vertical post which means if your desk is against a wall, as mine is, you have to get behind it to be able to get to access the bolts. In my case, the whole assembly would not adjust high enough (by about 1") because I have my second screen above my laptop. However, this is better than setting my screen on a block of wood which is what I had been doing. The most frustrating thing I noticed is that when the mount was positioned in the desired location, the screen was out of level. I could not figure out how to bring the screen into level compared to the table. I disassembled the whole unit, tried to make sure everything was square and level and then reassembled the whole thing to no avail. I realized that the four joints in the arm have enough slack to keep the screen from being level compared to the vertical post and table. This was especially noticeable when the arm was swung all the way to the left or right. I was so disappointed by this lack of apparent adjustment that I went to the company’s website to try to find out how to adjust the screen. Their website had better instructions but still didn’t mention anything about how to rotate the screen to level. I was actually to the point where I was about to put a shim into the joints to try and level the screen when I noticed that the part that mounts to the back of the screen is round. I grabbed the screen, tried to rotate it and to my astonishment it rotated! It was very stiff so I could see how it would not have rotated previously. Also, there’s no knob to tighten anything here so it doesn’t look like it moves (every other joint has a knob to tighten it). One of the plastic chord covers for the back of the stand was broken in the box. It obviously got smashed by the heavy parts during shipping as the box was in good condition. I really don’t care about this because I’m not going to use it but they really should do something to better protect the fragile pieces from the heavy parts. Overall, I am happy with this mount especially after I figured out how to rotate the screen to level. The instructions and directions leave a lot to be desired. Luckily, the installation is fairly straight-forward but it would be nice to have some direction as to how the arm can articulate as well as how to adjust the screen to be level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well for our desk My wife has wanted an adjustable mount for her computer for some time. She works from home and has her desk configured in an L shape with a wireless keyboard and mouse so she can work from either side depending on whatever task she is performing. With the standard monitor stand she was limited in the ability of having the monitor directly in front of her, she had it in the corner where it would kind of work from either viewpoint. With this she can position it directly in front of her at both work spaces. It was very easy to assemble and mount to her desk and I will probably get another one for our home computer as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality The first monitor mount I received had a broken cable cover. The packaging was in no way damaged. I requested a replacement. The replacement arrived and the box showed no signs of damage or rough handling. When I opened the box I discovered that once again the monitor stand had a broken cable cover. Upon examine the cable covers I found them to be extremely brittle and liable to break easily. I cannot recommend nor use this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty construction, and is easy to assemble! This is a well designed, sturdy constructed, desk mount monitor stand. The monitor mounting bracket is height adjustable, and is able to swivel from side to side. In the rear there is a covered channel to run and hide wiring from the PC to the monitor. It has a thick matte black finish, hand adjustable undermount screws, and a thick rubberized pad to prevent damage to the desktop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor mount The Desktop Mount with a Full Motion Dual Arm Mount is great for saving space on the desk. The installation and set up only took a few minutes and was very simple. The motion range of the mount is very useful. The mount seems to be very stable and strong. I have a 22" monitor attached to it and it doesn't have any problems. This is a very nice for any desk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Broken plastic cover I was excited to get this mount in the mail so I could mount my work monitor to the front of my desk and get a little more desk space. It arrived in a cardboard box and was a lot heavier than I expected . Most of that weight can be attributed to the desk clamp assembly. I unpacked it and immediately noticed the plastic wire covering had broken into about a dozen or so small pieces. It must have happened during shipping or something. The plastic is very brittle. It seems this is a very common occurrence for this brand/model. Anyway, I can't use it to mount the monitor to my desk anymore because I don't want the wiring visible so I used it in my basement to mount my smaller 17" monitor to the wall below my server. Even though that is not the intended purpose, at least I was able to use it for something. I can pull the monitor out, collapse, it and tilt it. The only thing I can't do is rotate it but that's not a problem for me. Depending on the location on the holes on the back of your monitor or TV there are a set of extension bars included to increase the VESA size. Overall the rest of the unit is well built and very sturdy. Plan on the possibility of having to call the manufacturer or returning it if yours arrives with the plastic cover broken.
