Very sturdy well-designed play set that will last for many years. Difficult at times to put together using hex keys, but it does provide a safe and smooth surface for kids to play on. My 27-year-old daughter put it together with very little help from me, and she said she really wished that whoever wrote the instruction manual had put one together BEFORE they wrote the manual, especially putting the hex-bolts inside the pipes with hex keys that barely reached. She worked on it a little at a time for several days - around 12 hours total. We got a size smaller screws for the roof (that made those 48 screws a WHOLE lot easier to put in); and gripper tape for the steps (actually round bars) and climbing wall just to make it even safer. Some of the screw holes in the plastic climbing wall were not lined up exactly right, but it was easy to drill new holes in the plastic that worked. We've had lots of comment on how nice and sturdy it looks; vehicles still slow down to check it out (the primary colors are very bright); and the grandkids LOVE it! I would highly recommend this play set to everyone - but be prepared to become very frustrated with all the hex-bolts.

We have had this play set for a year now. Our kids (and the neighborhood kids) all love playing on it. We compared this to the other play set available and picked this because there was no huge gap between the climbing wall and the play set floor for children to fall down. we also like the look of the play set and that it is different then all the others out there.
Other reviews have complained about the top step of the ladder, Our 2 year old twins are small and have both never had a problem with climbing up. We have no complaints about this at all. Hands down the best purchase we have made for the kids.
We had no problems with the installation. My husband and I put it together in a Saturday (I am not handy at all). We did put some things together ahead of time so it would go faster (the roof, the ladder, the rock walls...). As long as you read the instructions and make sure you have the right parts it goes smoothly.
Our kids love it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by twinmommy Quality Item, better than the expensive wood ones
We got this playset for our 3 year old twins. We were not sure what to expect since we do not know anyone that has this item. Well we know of a few now who are getting it. Although it did definitely require two people to put together and did take a whole day (they never put a swing set together before and are not especially handy,) it was worth it. My kids LOVE this set.It is very sturdy and the slide is great. We only got it a few months ago so I cannot attest to the durability over the long haul, but we have already had a "super storm" and a hurricaine and it was fine.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MJB71 Very nice play set, much better than the wooden ones
Very nice playset, my 4 year old son loves it, as does my 11 year old daughter. Is very heavy and well made. Took me about 14 hours to put together by myself. Only tip I have is to drill out screw holes where you attach the climbing wall and the roof, you will already have the 1/4 inch drill bit out to drill out holes in the climbing wall.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dude14 Great Set! Instructions needs updating
The set is fantastic, my son loves it. Problem with this is mainly the instruction manual, not the product. The bolts and washer letter designation do not match the blister packs. The only way around it I found was to take the part and match it to the instruction book. Fortunately the manual pictures are actual size of the bolts, etc, so you can match it up that way. I can see someone who is not mechanically incline get frustrated with the installation. Lifetime should update either the manuals or get the labeling correct.

We bought this set for our grandkids. Nana and Papa put it together (need epsom salts, pain reliever and icy hot)…FYI…get some younger folks to help. Here are a few tips we found that might make your life easier…#1 Make sure you get the tower support together correctly….read the instructions …watch the video and then do it again. If you have that tower support (looks like a large stop sign) put together correctly….everything should go together well (somehow we got ours wrong and we did have dimples facing down as per instruction..but we figured it out) Just make sure you look it all over good, even go so far as to have another set of eyes look it over and insure that it is all correct before proceeding. #2 make sure you orient yourself with the pics in the manual and how you currently have the swing set up….makes a huge difference. ours went up opposite manual. #3 Make sure you have 3-4 people to help with the tower roof, particularly if you try to put this up with any kind of wind. #4 Can't stress this enough….verify the hardware needed / locate it / verify again. Most of the instructions were pretty good…all hardware were clearly marked….the videos were very helpful. After all was said and done….seeing the smiles on the kids faces made it all worthwhile….would I buy again? YEP in a heartbeat. Ask us later if we would put it up again ourselves :) We are still recovering

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RobAndAngela Great playset! Instructions are good, but need improvement
My wife and I spent a lot of time researching the choice between wood and metal for a play set. We were initially drawn to the wood sets, but after reading the reviews of this set (and comparing the costs) we changed our minds. We are very happy with the set and if you are going to assemble your own you should certainly pay very close attention to the instructions. I had to rebuild portions of the set because things weren't clear and I had to drill out the holes in the vertical tubes where the climbing wall attaches because the existing holes were too small.
We installed the play set on top of 6" of playground mulch we had delivered the week prior.
I was able to assemble the entire set in one full day - mostly by myself and using the included allen wrenches (I did use power tools for drilling out the holes and attaching the roof. I'm in my early 40s and a big of a handy man if that helps you gauge your ability to do this. If you have competent help you should easily be able to assemble this in 5-8 hours.
My only complaint is the quality of the instructions. There are times where I'd be trying to figure out what the orientation of a particular part should be. When I really couldn't tell from the instructions I'd look ahead in the instructions to see where that particular part might come into play.
For instance, there is a horizontal bar that makes up the handrail of the tower on the A-Frame side. The instructions weren't really clear about the orientation of the bar. It referenced some holes pointing down, but almost every side had holes!! As it turned out (and I lost the bet and had to take it apart) there are three small holes on one side that must point down (the chalkboard attaches to it).
Assembling the roof was a bit of a challenge without having some help to hold the roof support bars in place. You'll need a good tall ladder that can get you close to the roof so you can put enough weight behind the drill to get the screws in.
Other than those minor issues - the swingset looks great and our kid has taken to it enthusiastically.
