CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for what I needed I scraped down the popcorn in my bathroom ceiling during a remodel. I needed to put something back up there and decided on a roll-on texture. I used this in combination with the easy-sand 45 joint compound. The finished product looked great. Not sure how much money I saved over hiring a pro, but I spent 8 bucks on the joint compound and 7 bucks on this roller, and about 2 hours of my afternoon. Make sure you take your time and roll slowly to avoid splattering, especially if doing a ceiling. I had my entire bathroom, including walls, covered in plastic, and a massive piece of cardboard on the floor, and I'm glad I did. January 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by unique look We remodeled the house which is 25 years old. Time was not an issue so we opted to go with the textured roller vs. buying a small hand held texture sprayer. It takes longer but the results are worth the effort. The roller had a good nap for leaving a unique look. The more directions you roll the joint compound the uniform the finished texture looks. We went up-down, left-right, diagonal for a thick orange peel look then gave it a light knock down. We were really happy with the results. Mixing the joint compound to a thick paint or milkshake consistency makes it workable. We rolled enough mud to just about cover the wall. It easily covered the poor, fast job the 2 bit contractor did originally without having to cover everything or empty the room. Work slow for less mess & splatter and don't try to cover too much area at one time. On big walls the joints covered with no lines or issues when only doing 4' X 4' sections unlike the old knock down lines that we covered up. May 9, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gets The Job Done! Excellent Nap" "I used this product to texture a wall for a client with mud (Joint Compound) and it came out fantastic. This is a great nap! It applies well and cleans well for a 2nd use. I will be using this one again for other jobs. June 30, 2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by Even a professional painter learned something when I gave him one of these to use. I hired a painter to repaint a downstairs living and bedroom area walls and ceiling. I did the original painting almost 30 years prior ans it was over due for a color change and something a little brighter. I had textured the ceiling back then using a roller. When it came time to do the ceiling again the painter was going to use a large round brush to make a dipple pattern of sorts on 3 new panels of drywall he finished, as that was the only way he knew how to make it, just by painting. I told him I knew how to do it and I proceeded to HD and picked up two of the rollers and gave it to him. One was to use on my job and the other was for him to keep for the future. To say he was surprised would be an understatement. So after 30 years of painting, he learned something important from a DIYer. It matched the texture of the rest of my ceiling perfectly. I can't attach a photo of the product in action and since it is not an installed product either, as the roller was used a month ago, but it is worth a look and a test for someone looking for a lightly textured ceiling look. Perfect for the DIYer and the professional. Fast, easy and clean up is a breeze. May 27, 2014
