Modified to sit on a deck
Installed on a deck, so we did not dig footers. I cut down the posts and vinyl covers to 7 feet tall and anchored them with galvanized hardware. We also ran 1x4 around the top of the stall to stiffen things up. Also, we had to modify the entry door. By removing a panel and ripping another vinyl slat we cut it down to 33 inches to fit between two windows. Overall, a nice improvement to what we had before.

Finished Shower Enclosure looks great once installed - Installation is hard though
Installed my shower kit this weekend and it looks great. It took me about 20 hours to dig a drywell, installing the posts, build a platform and put up the walls and doors. The finished build looks awesome and I can't wait to shower in it. The door hardware is the same as my professional contractor used on my fence. The individual pvc pieces are of similar quality to a fence... they flex and bend when you push on them and I wouldn't recommend slamming the door too hard for fear of something cracking. Note - the cost of the additional materials needed to complete the shower could be higher than the cost of the shower kit itself (of course this depends on the specifics of your build and if you're paying covid prices for lumber). I also used 10' 4x4 posts instead of 8' posts, which I would recommend if you're going to incorporate an elevated platform.

            Love this shower!
This product was semi-easy to complete due to our building construction knowledge. Keeping everything square was the only hard part. We love this enclosure! Money well spent!

              Good product!
This shower kit came out great. Parts fit snugly and hardware is good quality. I spent extra time insuring posts were level, plumb and square in exactly the correct distance from each other. Very happy with result!

After looking at multiple shower stall options available, I selected this one for price, materials, size (4' x 4') and availability. Within days after placing the order in April 2019, the shower stall had arrived (shipped to local HD store)! All parts were there except what we knew had to be purchased (4x4 posts, concrete anchors, screws to attach to wall, etc.). My son was able to assemble and install the shower stall kit in about 8 hours by himself. He was also able to move the door from the center to the side to accommodate our outside shower placement. Sides were adjustable in size but we chose not to make them smaller. Our family is overall very pleased with the shower stall, and looking forward to using it this summer!

I really dislike leaving less than 5 star reviews, but want others to be aware of a few problems with this item before ordering. First of all, the item itself is very nice. I love the way it looks at our bayhome. It was relatively easy to put together. You will need 4x4 wooden posts for the vinyl posts to slip over, and concrete, so keep that in mind when figuring actual cost. The problems started with shipping. It came motor freight and the driver did not want to deliver it to our home, which is in the country on a non busy road. So my husband had to meet him in the city limits at a hospital parking lot and load the item into the back of his truck. Then he had to bring it home and unload it. He managed, but it is heavy and should really be handled by 2 people. After he unloaded it, he built the gate first, no problems. He noticed that 2 of the post caps were broken, and we needed the shower for a party in 2 days, so I just went on Amazon and grabbed replacement post caps and had them shipped to me for around $20 bucks. Aggravating, but it was a quick fix. However, when he went to assemble the sides, he realized that 2 of the brackets holding the walls together were missing. The shower cannot be assembled at all without the brackets, so were were stuck with a gate and no sides. I called Home Depot and their systems were down ALL DAY, so they could not get me replacement parts. I asked if they sold anything comparable because at this point, I was desperate to get the shower finished in time for our party. They do not sell anything that would work with this shower. I went out on a limb and called the manufacturer who did tell me that the missing brackets are a known issue. I begged them to please let me buy them and pay for overnight shipping so that I would be able to have the shower ready in time. At first they said that the replacement parts could only be ordered through Home Depot, but after I begged and pleaded, they did ship them out to me at no charge and I received them in time for my party! All in all, I would have given the shower 5 stars, but because of the known issues I felt it wouldn't be fair to other shoppers. Just don't buy this item if you don't have time to wait for replacement parts! Otherwise, it's a great item with excellent customer service.

I like the overall structure and ease of installation.. it is secure against house and looks fantastic. I was able to build a floor and incorporate and drain system using another Home Depot products (shower pan Liner, flex drain that pitches away from house into an easy made dry well...we love it!!!

                Very sturdy outdoor shower.
First of all, this shower comes in one box which is about 7 or 8 feet long and EXTREMELY HEAVY! One person cannot carry this box. Within the box are all components including a large separate box with the gate. It would have been better and easier if the boxes were separate. I had to wait for someone to come over and help me lift this box which made it frustrating. Anyway, when I opened the box to remove all the components, one of the post caps was cracked. No big deal since they are readily available at Home Depot and not expensive. I received this product after the summer season and did not realize that you need to have wood posts installed below the frost line and cemented in. The good and bad is that it's too late in the year for me to determine the best "sunny spot" for this structure because I will be using a solar shower unit for my water source so I'm not actually installing it until Spring time. Rather than make it the intended permanent structure (which requires Miss Dig to come and mark potential underground wiring or gas lines), I may just get brackets which allow me to install the wood posts to a composite or wood "floor" which gives me more opportunity to move this shower if necessary. (I've included pictures of the required extra things needed for full installation). I also want to add a floor drain which attaches to a French drain near the structure to make sure I don't get pooling of water. The good is that it's very sturdy and can be kept outside year round as a permanent structure. The 2 sides of the shower have panels which slide into the included vertical panels which then screw into the post sleeves that slide over your installed treated wood 4x4's. There is no back panel since this stall is intended to butt up against the side of your house or other structure. The back panel is available to purchase separately if desired. Manufacturer is Liquid Sunshine sold at the Home Depot. The gate is, obviously, the front of the stall. I've been looking for an outdoor shower for years because I have frequent guest who stay at my lake house during the hot summers in Michigan and I have 1 bathroom so this gives another option for showers in the morning or for rinsing off after swimming or playing on the sandy beach! I can't wait to use it when the summer arrives!

Excellent eye appeal, exceptional durability and a nice finish
We are very pleased with this Liquid Sunshine vinyl outdoor shower stall kit. After assembly we have a functional outdoor shower stall with excellent eye appeal, exceptional durability and a nice finish. The kit is sturdy and well thought out. In summary, we recommend it. For more specific details we discovered first hand please continue with this review. The shower kit arrived in one large box that weighed about 137 lbs. In addition to this kit you will need to purchase 4 treated 8’ long wood 4”X4” fence post (they go inside the vinyl ones provided in the kit). Also enough concrete to secure your post 36” in the ground. Please note the kit does not contain any plumbing or flooring, you will have to supply that also. We positioned ours against a brick wall that was close to a water and sewer source. We selected a good quality artificial turf for our floor. With my wife and I working together we spent a total of about 18 hours installing our shower. The instructions are not very detailed and you will need a rubber hammer and a block of wood because some of the gate parts fit very tight. We have provided several photos and a short demo video to give the prospective buyer a close look at many of the details, I hope they help.
