Customer Questions & Answers

Why Does it say a 4 light fixture but the very next statement is it is a 2 light fixture ???

I am not sure is 2 bulbs or 4 bulbs needed?
Asked by: Galen
Usually when it says in the description (4 light fixture) it means it has 4 lights. I guess there is a typo error. If you want to be here, look at the information area when you are looking at the pulled up area of the product. It will say how many bulbs it uses.

How do you remove the diffuser lens without breaking something?

Once fully in place, the diffuser is very secure, but seems to press against the outer two sockets. When you try to remove that diffuser, you worry about broken bulbs or diffuser. How are you supposed to replace bulbs if you can't get the diffuser on and off easily? When you push laterally on one side, it's supposed to disengage from the other side, but doesn't. The end caps keep things from flexing enough! I'd appreciate some hints on how to remove the diffuser once the lamp is mounted.
Asked by: DrillDoc
It seems that the diffuser tightens to the fixture over time due to gravity causing the center to sag. If you lift the diffuser in the center with one hand you then should be able to slide the whole assembly either to one side or the other allowing the side to disengage.

do you stock the specific bulbs that this light says it requires?

I have looked online and don't see the bulbs that match the description of what this light says it requires - at least not all the words used
Asked by: Anonymous
It takes standard 32 watt fluorescent bulbs 48" long. I wouldn't change the wattage but there are different styles (grow and sun for example). We used the sunlight style as the fixture is located in an Art Studio. In this application it works perfectly. I got the bulbs at Home Depot but they are very common.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NICE LIGHT I have bought several of these lights for our church. They are easy to install. They give off plenty of light. The light cover is a bit hard to position so it stays in place. It took me several minutes to get it to stay in place but once in place it was good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality Installation went well until I tried to install the diffuser. The metal frame was so flimsy that the light bulbs kept falling out and never could get diffuser installed with bulbs in place. Finally used diffuser from light fixture I was replacing. Installation instructions didn't match light fixture. I've installed numerous light fixtures, never ran into a problem like this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy to install and wire. The light shield didn't fit accurately. I chose this light fixture to put into a room that we are converting into an art studio. The light fixture itself was very easy to install and quite sturdy. After completion I installed the guard and shield assembly and it didn't fit so had to kind of balance it. After a couple days it sagged in the middle and ended up being quite secure. This problem appears to be due to the packaging which flattens the assembly out so that the curve needed to create a tight fitting is not present straight out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Again, Great Product @ A Great Price NOTE: Listed another review on the 2 light/bulb fixture. Purchased 2 of these light fixtures, packaging was very good. The "ballast quick disconnect" made the installation very easy. No more having to run the wires into the light fixture. Some folks complain about having to replace the ballast and not having luck finding what is needed. This ballast has a 1-800 number on the ballast info label. This makes it so much easier if repalcement is needed. The diffuser cover was very easy to install over the lamps/bulbs and is just as easy to remove for lamp/bulb replacement. I give this fixture a "BIG" thumbs up!!!
