Answer:
Not the model I bought and am reviewing, but this model "Model # DV-600PR-WH " does not come with a face plate. I do believe it requires a certain brand face plate (Claro) but it may give you more flexibility.

Yes. The faceplate pops off and the rest of the switch will fit into your existing box and the existing plate can go back on. That's what I did with mine.

It would be worth a try. Mine did not flicker however it appears all LED lights are not created equal. Maybe you can work the problem backwards. Find out what light you have and contact the manufacturer of the light to find out who they recommend.

What makes dimming LEDs so difficult is that there is currently no standard within the industry and so everyone is manufacturing LEDs very differently from each other. Because of this, between all of the LEDs out there, they will all dim down to different levels and will all have a different dimming performance. Some LEDs may become unstable when they reach a certain point, so it is hard to say whether or not a DVWCL-153PH will fix the issues you are seeing. One advantage, however, is that it includes a low end trim adjustment. Because of the differences in LEDs, you can adjust how low this dimmer will go to customize it to fit the bulbs being used. This may help erase out any instability these LEDs have when you get down to low end. Read Less

The DVWCL-153PH-WH will not require a ground connection to work. Feel free to just cap the green wire coming off of the dimmer.

The Lutron web site says that the select models of the DIVA have the soft-glow locator light and I'd like to get that model to replace my existing dimmer switches. I am putting in new dimmers so that they will work with my LED lights.

Answer:
No, if you want the soft glow light and digital circuitry, buy the Maestro CL for your LED lights. However, be warned, the Maestro and Diva have different "compatible" LED bulbs. Check the most up to date bulb compatibility list on the lutron.com/dimcflled website to make sure your bulbs will work.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 47 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So Far, Great I like the look and design of this 3-Way Decra switch. The dimmer works great too. I just hope it lasts. I have Decra switches all through my house and I have had an issue with the mechanical plastic parts breaking. Then the switch has to be replaced. October 11, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Feels and sounds cheap I installed this dimmer when upgrading the chandelier in my dining room. While I am pleased with the dimming functionality, the unit leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to feel and sound. The rocker switch has a very cheap sound and feel and the plate cover is also very thin and cheap feeling. While it functions well, I expected something more substantial for the price and I would not purchase again. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good LED dimmer option Have 6+ of these dimmers installed paired with various brands of LED bulbs and rope lighting; all work well. September 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wall Dimmer The DIVA wall dimmer did a good job in dimming two LED lights. The LED lighting manufacturer had a list of approved vendors. This helped me in selecting this unit. The only down side is it does not dim the lights very much. It worked ok for our application. If you were doing a movie theater it would not have worked. August 30, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average switch but some things to consider. Purchased this to add dimming feature in our bedroom. A couple of things to note. The quality of the switch seems fair but the dimming slider feel like a loose flaky piece of plastic. It doesn't feel solid as I would expect. To be fair, I am used to the older rotary style dimmers and this is the first dimmer of this style that I have used. The actual unit seems to be a little bit bulkier and deeper than the original regular switch. This posed a bit of a problem for me since the electrical box for the switch is a standard sized one, not a wider or deeper style box. I tried my best to get the wires/wire nuts tucked away to fit the switch in the electrical box. My best effort failed to keep the switch plate completely flush against the wall so there is not a small gap. Unfortunately, the biggest issue is that this switch does not work properly with the LED bulbs that I have installed. I have (2) lamps in the bedroom controller by this switch. The dimmer function only seems to dim one of the them, the other is not affected. Again, to be fair, this is not necessarily a problem with this switch. Dimmer switches and LED bulb compatibility seems to be an issue with many switch and LED bulb combinations. I found the following website which seems to have some good information if you're trying to find a combination that is compatible. I need to do more testing to have a better understand of which dimmer plays nice with the LED bulbs that I have already invested in. https://www.polar-ray.com/kbase/LED_Lighting_Dimming_Guide/trouble-dimming-my-led-lights.html August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best part - it works! And it was easy to wire. Because I switched from incandescent to CFL my OLD dimmer no longer worked. August 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by reliable switch Good switch . The for this type of switch is a little high. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Improvement from the switch I bought 5 years ago Easy switch to install and threeway option is a great addition. Installed with a fan which does not like the dimmer aspect when spinning but works great with the light. Make sure you get dimmable (sp) bulbs! June 30, 2016
