How would I attach these to a medicine chest? Do they have an adhesive backing? I had a magnet originally but one side came off and was lost.

Asked by: Buttons
I attach them with epoxy. Never had one come off and some of these are on heavy use items.

Customer Reviews

1/2 in. Neodymium Rare-Earth Magnet Discs (6 per Pack) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very strong magnets These magnets come in packs of three (3) not six, and come with a one inch square rubber composite "keeper" magnet. These magnets are so powerful that they are a bit hard to get apart, having to slide them off each other with your thumbs. They are not for small children because they "snap" together and can pinch little fingers; or can be "snapped" onto objects that may break or chip. The Neodymium material of the magnets tends to be brittle as a characteristic of the metal amalgam, and so if the unprotected magnets are repeatedly snapped together they can chip or fracture. When protected by a thin sheet of material it will provide remarkable holding power. And so if you are looking for a small inexpensive and powerful magnet(in a set of three), this is it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but strong magnets These 1/2" magnets are surprisingly strong for their size. It's really hard to slide them apart as they come attached to each other.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Magnets But Not Great These magnets will work well if you are just looking to use them for crafts or similar, but they aren't terribly strong. Maybe it is my fault, thinking they would be stronger.
