Customer Reviews

14 Amp 1-1/8 in. 35 lb. Demolition Hammer is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from follow up with my previous review So after one year of use,it started giving us problem AGAIN.it started not hammering.i took it to 2 diffrent servicce centers and they thought they fixed it. everytime after bringing back the tool ,it was the same story.finally took it to the main makita center and a guy fixed it(it was the variable switch).right after 7 months wich i had 6 months warranty on it,it stoped AGAIN. guess what IS the problem? 3 main parts were burned, the brush holder made from plastic was melted, the switch was burned and the cage rotor itself was burned.believe it or not i was so fed up with it we just trow it to trash bin. Worst jackhammer owned with company.we own 3 jackhammer 45 makita and maybe 4 diffrent small sizes makita too.so far this guy is the worst made

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jack the Hammer Just replaced older Makita jack hammer, new one has good features:variable speed, power switch stays on and hammer goes to neutral, when no pressure on bit, indicator lights to inform when brushes need replacement.Tool should last as long as our previous hammer, 25 years.with proper respect.
