Easy to install. I just wish somehow they would let the customer know up front that bolts will need to be purchased seperately.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Sudsy good secure lock
I installed this lock on my Conex and learned a few things:
It needs to be lined up exactly and it has to lie on a completely flat surface. I had to trim some rubber on the door gasket to make it fit exactly and allow the doors to swing. It seems very secure. It calls for 3/8 stainless carriage bolts, I used common(zinc) not galvanized. After you mount one site then reassemble the lock to mark the holes for the other side to insure a good fit. Good workmanship and finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 Does not come with mounting hardware!
Buyer beware! This item does not come with mounting hardware. You will need six (6) 3/8" diameter carriage bolts, lockwashers and nuts for each kit. (Each side of the hasp uses three (3) bolts). For those not familiar with a carriage bolt, it has a rounded head and a square shank between the head and the threaded portion. They come in different lengths so measure the thickness of what you will be mounting this to beforehand.

This is the second such lock I've purchased. They are the "FORT KNOX" of the under $100 locks. Use stainless carriage bolts and its impervious to most torches. I feel much safer leaving my shop!
