Answer:
It should be a standard "water hose gasket". Ask as sales associate for assistance.

Answer:
If the inlet you are talking about is located at the bottom of the sprayer the O ring can be found at The Home Depot in the Garden Dept or the Plumbing Dept.

We haven't searched at HD, but our local hardware store & feed store in our small country town carries this stuff and it's cheap.

I may not be of help, but I use automotive parts, the kits I have has near 100 difference O-rings and many parts stores have 0-rings in small packages.

The question doesn't have enough detail for me to answer, but if I had to find an O ring for something specific I'd order it online.

Answer:
I hope you figured it out by now Warren. Buy a slightly larger one and cut it down to fit, or go back
to HD and return it, then buy a better nozzle.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 301 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk, Total Junk!!! Had this attached to my hose for less than one season. Time to put down some revive since it has been so very hot and dry, meaning time to take off the nozzle. First by hand, then pliers, then 2 pliers, finally a hammer. This so called nozzle had literally welded itself to the hose fitting. Once I broke it with the hammer I found the inside had some kind of residue equivalent to concrete. Schwarzenegger himself could not have taken this from the hose connection without help, or ruining the hose. Removed the nozzle from the second hose in the back...and yes it had started to do the same thing as well. Done! Menlor...never ever ever again. So not only is the nozzle junk, the hose is ruined. Thanks a bunch, ever hear of things called engineering and testing. August 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap Quality I bought this product and in less than a week it had already broken. The thread that connects to the nozzle is a cheap piece of plastic that was painted to look like brass. July 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage.. I originally purchased based purely on name brand. Hey, Melnor been around a while must know what they are doing. It became quickly apparent they don't. This nozzle leaks from at the attachment point from the instant I turned the water on. A very poorly designed washer seal that does not seat. Any amount of water pressure quickly finds its way past the rubber washer. I thought maybe its just not in all the way so I toke a look and tried to seat it further only to find the seat that is only large enough to stop the washer but too small to allow proper seating of the washer. I will return this poorly designed sprayer and again purchase based on reputation, and it wont be a melnor... May 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a wonderful sprayer made by Melnor This sprayer has a good pin-point spray for knocking down hornet's nests but then I can turn the knob and do a good gentle spray for watering flowers. This is a well made sprayer that is sturdy. Overall a very good sprayer and purchase. July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't even last a year I made sure I bought a good metal nozzle that would serve me for several years. It worked fine last summer. This spring I hooked it up again and at first it worked well. Then a week later the water came squirting out all around the yellow ring just behind the nozzle head. I mean...a complete circle. I will not buy another of this brand name. May 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A reasonable multi-use nozzle. I purchased 2 of these. One of them makes a whining sound on the shower setting, and I intend to exchange it for another. Other than that, this is an easy to use nozzle, pretty good options. The full setting didn't seem that strong, I'm wondering if the flow was restricted. For general gardening though it was great. The lock is a little hard to make use of, as it is somewhat interior between the top of the trigger and the corner of the nozzle. It works fine at first, and I haven't had it long enough for it to start to rust or wear, but I suspect it will eventually be very difficult to use the lock. Fortunately, I don't usually use the lock. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Mid level Pattern Nozzle Works well and should use with thread tape to prevent leaking at connection. Last one broke when dropped on pool deck after one year. Not durable. August 30, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rear trigger 7-pattern nozzle Not to bad. Does not last for a full season. Would recommend if product needed for a short time. August 30, 2016
