Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Franztini Never going to bother refinishing floors & just install this!
We installed this flooring in a 18' 5" x 15' room in about 6 hours. It is a breeze to install - the longest part was running down the stairs and cutting the last board and opening the boxes and sorting the pieces. We didn't have an issue with boxes only having small pieces. As with laying any flooring it is really important to open several boxes and mix the boards. Also, we noticed a few of the boxes had 'starter' boards - either left or right. We assume that there was a mistake at the factory and they threw them in the box. They are labeled on the bottom of the board.
We used Unison 2 in l underlayment which was a breeze to use but will be using Johnson foam for the rest of the bedrooms since it is going over hardwood and we don't need the moisture barrier.
We purchased 15 boxes and had almost a box left over. If you plan and layout the boards right you will have next to no drop. Our drop only filled four inches in a garbage can.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Peaches best real wood (enginered) I could find for the money.
Installers said this new type of snap and click flooring goes down much easier that other types. It appears they were correct. They did not have to pound the ends together like other flooring. The finish around the dark areas of the wood has small waves in it, not noticeable unless it's a few inches from your face. overall very happy with the quality and appearance.

Very happy with the quality and appearance of the flooring.
Only small issue with the installation. It is NOT just a click. A hammer and block of wood was required to set each tongue into the groove. Not just a tap but three or four good whacks. All did set just fine though. No hint in the instructions about this. Technical Services from manufacturer provided advice. Their 800 number was great.

This is a superior floor. It's a little darker than the sample picture shows, but looks great. I put it in the whole first floor, and I'm really happy with this flooring.

Wife, daughter & I just completed installing 8 boxes in daughters home. I've installed & sold all types of flooring at various times over the past 35 years. I would rate this as a good engineered hardwood floor. The only real issue we had was some of the ends would not click in on the outer edge but once next board was installed it locked in but had a insignificant height difference at the corner. Not a big deal as floor looks nice especially with the beveled edges. We used Blue Hawk 2 in 1 cushion/moisture barrier on concrete slab. With natural oak T moulding, it looks fabulous!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Songbird VERY Pleased With Flooring Product!
We floored a living room, kitchen and bedroom with this product. Professional installers performed the installation and they were very impressed with the material, its beauty, and ease of installation - and they've seen all kinds!
We liked the thinner strip size (4-1/4 width), color, value and warranty. It's comfy on bare feet and easy to keep clean. A total win-win!

I installed this floor over a slab. It goes down easy and looks great. You need to have a quality pad. No glue required. We have had it down for over a year with no signs of wear. This product is a good value for the diy installer.

I too have used this product in the past and was very happy with the quality and ease of installation therefore I did not hesitate to purchase it again when I decided to complete another room in my home. The lack of tand the removal of the locking plastic biscuit was a mistake on the companies part as the joints no longer have a positive even joint. Also, the quality of the planks has gone down hill and I had many planks that were nicked on their finish or the bottom (backing) were void of missing material. For the cost I will choose another company and product next time.
