Customer Questions & Answers

What is the metal thing for?

Asked by: Weads
It's a removable handle. If you need to palm the tool, the flat of the handle can rest in your palm, then grip that tool and drive your screw in. Sometimes I take the handle off, but most of the time I need it to grip the tool.

1/4 in. Hex Offset Drive Adapter is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helpful Makes life a lot easier when removing all the bolts in my wheel wells on my tundra. I put the 1/4" socket adapter in it and it's ten times faster than using a ratchet. The handle is useless. It falls off. I leave it off. Only thing I'd really change is for it to be a full 90 degree angle. It's probably more like 80. If it was 90 it could get into tighter spots.

Concept is pretty good, but the thumb stabilizer piece comes off very easily and in tight situations (which is what you buy this for) it falls off when you need to stay in place the most. once off, the tool is a lot harder to control. There is no option to tighten it. If they fix this, so it stays in-place, then I would upgrade this rating and recommend it.

It is the best, compact, offset driver I've used - great for tight places. However, the thumb rest/lever falls off quite easily. I lost mine down a plumbing chase and couldn't retrieve it. I liked the offset driver so much I bought another. Milwaukee should engineer a more secure way to attach it and I would rate it five stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not perfect I intended to buy a different brand but got this one because it was the only one in stock at my local store. It's well built and it works but I wish it was actually set at 90 degrees. It's a little awkward finding the correct angle to set the drill because of that and stripped a couple of screw heads before I got used to it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good I was very excited to buy this tool because I had the perfect place to use it. In the attic face don't in insulation and when I used it it slowly fell apart. First started with where the bit attaches then it just all started to fall apart. It was a waste of time money and energy. I would not buy another one

I was very disappointed with the 1/4 off-set adapter. I have every tool yall have ever came out with but this really SUCK!! I think it's time for me to change brands. Over 30 years of hard working tools and then this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect tool!!! Perfect tool for getting into tight spots whenever you need to drill something. Tried using the same tool from other brands and they were always too bulkly to work for me. Used my last one so much that it eneed up breaking as I was using it... Great part, would recommend to anyone.

I broke it last month: 2017. I had to buy another one, I rely on this tool for those screws that my drill/driver can't get to. Best right angle on the Market. Smaller than DeWalt's. Get's in the small places.
