Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Saw for my Sons Science Project This hacksaw was used by the entire 7th grade class at my sons school when they were doing a science project . These kids are not easy on equip, but Milwaukee tools are made to take a beating and keep working... Now I know they are 7th grade approved October 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by handy little tool There are times you need a heavy duty tool and times you don't. This compact hacksaw is perfect for the times you just need a quick cut on a small or thin item. Easy to use in tight spaces also. February 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Minor Problem I indicated "Poor Design" but it is generally a good design. The problem: I need to use a wrench to install a new blade. The nut locking mechanism does not hold. It isn't a major problem since I don't change the blade much, but it could be a simple lever movement if the outside nut locked properly. November 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for toilet bolts I bought this with one use in mind and that was to cut off toilet bolts. And it works perfect for that. This thing also comes in handy when your in a confined space and need to saw something. Your able to put any hacksaw blade in, so your able to cut almost anything. January 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A sturdy, useful tool for sawing metal or plastic in tight quarters I have used this Milwaukee compact hacksaw five times since getting it. The last time I used it was to saw off hold down bolts for installation of four replacement toilets in our home. Three had tight quarters for hold down bolt cutoff work, this tool being the answer to working in such conditions. Another time I used it to cut a round hole in HVAC ducting in tight quarters to connect a round duct to the flat end of a cold air return. The handle is quite comfortable, the tool very sturdy and easily adjustable as to how much blade extends beyond the clamp that secures the blade. This was a very worthwhile tool purchase for me. It is of the usual high quality that I associate with tools carrying the Milwaukee name. February 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great for most applications Using this to replace the traditional c shaped tube hacksaw. My problem was the blade would always twist giving an uneven cut. This saw eliminates that problem. I can also use a metal blade on a sawsall for bigger jobs but those don't give a very clean straight cut either. This saw keeps the blade nice and straight providing a cut with less sticking in my opinion. Also reaches in places other saws cannot like under a sink or in between studs because the blade extends beyond the handle. Its also light and has a very comfortable handle. The biggest con is the handle height holding the blade is not as high so the diameter of the item cutting is limited. For example I couldn't cut through a gutter downspout in without turning the downspout. Overall a great addition for the home owners maintenance kit. October 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Where's are the blades? Great quality, but can't find the blades. Wouldn't recommend to a friend because of the trouble finding Milwaukee replacement blades. I got to use one blade and then had to go back to same poor quality blades I had before. December 26, 2013
