Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crumseattle Cuts holes like one would expect
The new step-shaped cutouts make it pretty easy to remove the waste material from the saw after cutting although it still requires the use of a prying tool of some sort.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dan Additional Piece REQUIRED, Perfect for Table Grommets
I used this bit to install a cable grommet in a conference room table - it worked great and left a nice clean 2" hole. It had absolutely no problem drilling through a 3" piece of MDF. The one thing to note is that this does NOT come with the necessary arbor. If you're like me and don't often need to drill holes this large, you WILL have to purchase an additional piece to attach it to your drill.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Justin Cuts through 2mm metal !
I needed a 2 inch hole cut for my wall mount plate (2mm thick) that were blocking the cables that needed to be plugged in. I was worried at first that this wouldn't work, but it does ! This was while using a cheap Ryobi drill.

This hole saw is larger than 2 in.
Tried to mount a gage on my center console boat. Instructions called for a 2 in. Hole. Gage literally fell through the hole. Had to plug hole and start over. Much larger than 2 in.

I needed to cut a hole in a steel "I" beam. Amazingly, it cut through it with no trouble.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DJH Good product.
I needed a hole saw to handle several types of material all in the same cut. Cut through steel, then wood then plastic without hesitation and with little feed pressure. Connects to my existing Milwaukee spindle with no issues. I will likely buy more sizes based on my experience.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Richard Does the job if you keep it cool
I see a number of reviews criticize this saw because it dulled on them in both wood or metal. I too have ruined some of these hole saws in the past by not keeping them cool while sawing the hole. Use lots of oil or soapy water in a spray bottle to cool the teeth as you are drilling and the saw teeth will retain their temper and saw efficiently. This one worked great to cut a taillight hole in jeep CJ body armor .
