Product Overview

The Milwaukee Hole Dozer Hole Saw features Rip guard, the strongest tooth form in the industry, backed by the Rip guard limited lifetime tooth break warranty. Each tooth is built with more steel behind the cutting edge for added strength. The Rip Guard warranty on tooth breaks is a first for the hole saw industry. The added tooth strength along with 8% cobalt give added life to the teeth, allowing for increased productivity on the jobsite, as well as continued hole quality. The Hole Dozer includes Plug Jack, an all access slot design that allows for full access during plug removal. The Plug Jack gives access lower into the cup for thick material and higher towards the teeth for thin material. With multiple positions to apply leverage and better plug access, Plug Jack increases productivity and eliminates wasted downtime between holes. For fast, tool-free change-outs, use Milwaukee's universal Quick-Change Arbors. 49-56-7210, 49-56-7240, 49-56-7250 and 49-56-9100.

Yes, the Hole Dozer can cut through thick steel, even I-beams. For thick steel low RPM with generous cutting fluid/wax is recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cuts holes like one would expect The new step-shaped cutouts make it pretty easy to remove the waste material from the saw after cutting although it still requires the use of a prying tool of some sort. June 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Additional Piece REQUIRED, Perfect for Table Grommets I used this bit to install a cable grommet in a conference room table - it worked great and left a nice clean 2" hole. It had absolutely no problem drilling through a 3" piece of MDF. The one thing to note is that this does NOT come with the necessary arbor. If you're like me and don't often need to drill holes this large, you WILL have to purchase an additional piece to attach it to your drill. April 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cuts through 2mm metal ! I needed a 2 inch hole cut for my wall mount plate (2mm thick) that were blocking the cables that needed to be plugged in. I was worried at first that this wouldn't work, but it does ! This was while using a cheap Ryobi drill. January 2, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Milwaukee 2 in. Hole dozer hole saw This hole saw is larger than 2 in. Tried to mount a gage on my center console boat. Instructions called for a 2 in. Hole. Gage literally fell through the hole. Had to plug hole and start over. Much larger than 2 in. December 8, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't cut through metal I bought this to cut through a 20ga steel sheet for an enclosure, but it didn't work at all. Had to buy a step drill to get the job done. Also tried this on thin stucco. It got through, but the bit was completely burnt out doing so. The packaging didn't say you could use for stucco, but I thought I would mention it in case anyone was wondering how it would perform. Don't recommend this product for metal or stucco use. This did work great with wood. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best product I always buy Milwaukee brand tools I feel they are the best in the market.... August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by When you need a 2 3/4 hole drill nothing else will do! Too expensive for what you get! A 2 3/4 hole saw is rarely needed. The cost of this product is way to high for what you get. August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor performance, drilled one hole in sheet metal and blade is dull when drilling the sheet metal which was only .032" thick the center bit wobbled and the hole drill started to orbit, had to exert a lot of pressure to cut. When the hole was finished the hole drill was completely dull and the drilled hole was undersized. Had to use half round files to finish hole. August 16, 2016
