CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, once use explained I agree with other commenters, it should not be necessary to remove the smaller set screw. This screw holds small ball bearing and spring that make the quick-disconnect feature work. Because of inadequate instructions with point-of-sale packaging, I too, took out the smaller set screw (larger set screw holds twist drill) only to have the ball bearing fall to floor and I never did see a spring. I had to return the original item to my retailer. I wonder how many get returned before Milwaukee Tool will agree to improve packaging instructions for what is otherwise a great product. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Really good...almost The quick change arbor was easy to use and easy to change hole saw sizes great design and I would have given it a 5 star rating if one of the retaining lugs hadn't kept falling out. I will talk to the store about an exchange. March 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Use and Strong This was included in the Milwaukee 14 piece bi-metal hole saw set. Simply pull back the collar, thread on the hole saw and push the collar back. The threads are very good quality and clean, so the hole saw spins on effortlessly. Best of all, NO TOOLS REQUIRED! There is no need to remove the allen screw, it just destroys the arbor. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth buying to upgrade from old arbor A couple of months ago, after changing out one large drill bit to another using the older screw on arbor, I forgot to tighten the base to where the two pins would hold the large drill bit in place. Well, the bit spun around and ruined the threads on the old arbor. I did not notice the problem until I needed to change bits and could not remove the old one (I could still use it but it was no longer available for other bits. So, angry at myself, I went down to Home Depot to spend another $20 and get a new one. The old was gone and the quick change arbor was there. Easy to install and secure in place. A major improvement!!! I can switch bits much faster and without pliers. And I believe it was well under $20. January 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Use I know it's not that intuitive, but to use this you need to pull the collar to expose the shank where your hole blade will fit. Once you screw it on, then push the collar back to lock the blade in place. Took all of 1 minute to figure this out and there's no need to remove the allen screw. Good luck folks and hope this helps.
