Answer:
your question came up for a hole saw. They aren't great for corners or tightt places, but you usually wouldn't need a hole saw to hang mini blinds. not wure what you are doing? but no, i don't think ia hole saw will work for you.

Answer:
No more than a regular bit. It depends on the exact hole you're trying to access. Usually the size of the drill itself is what's difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. Milwaukee makes the M12 3/8' cordless right-angle drill for getting into tight spaces which is what would make your job easier. But it's not cheap at $129.00

Answer:
Not really. The length of the drill bit and cutting blade makes the overall dimention of the drill plus bit to big to work in most small areas.

Answer:
This product was not specifically designed for use in tight spaces. We would suggest the offset adapter (48-32-2100) instead.

Answer:
I didn't use a hex as it is designed to work without. It's without thought because the holder is spring loaded. Hope this helps.

Answer:
One doesn't need to touch the set screw. This is a push-pull arbor with an internal bearing and spring. Removing the set screw risks having the spring pop out- happened to me.

Answer:
No. It is designed for wood, plastic, and metal. You would want a diamond saw to use on concrete. Unless you were drilling concrete board but with limited use - wouldn't last that long with very many holes.

Answer:
The pilot bit that comes with the 49-56-7250 arbor is designed for wood, plastic and metal. For materials like cement board, tile, fiberglass, brick and block use carbide tipped pilot bit model 49-56-8005.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A cut above the rest! Very solid and sturdy. A little heavy but I guess that is expected. I would like to know what power output you would recommend for the drill to be used with this bit. I used this item to cut a 6inch hole in 1/2 plywood. August 2, 2016
