No, no battery or charger included, just the tool and it's manual. Once you've accumulated a few batteries, it becomes a nice option to have, the tool-only purchase.

Answer:
Tool only does mean no battery, I too was a little surprised when I went to pick up the saw and found that it did not include blades, charger or battery. That's why I ended up buying the accompanying drill that had two batteries and a charger. If I had bought everything separately it would have cost me quite a bit. For an extra $30 I got a drill with case too!

You have to check through the Specifications to be sure...But usually that does mean only the tool, no battery or case. The only thing they will sometimes come with an adjustment wrench if needed.

Yes it does mean no battery. But if you have an 18V Milwaukee drill, or other tool, that uses the same batteries, you're all set.

Answer:
Yes, “tool only” means that the battery and charger are sold separately. Many customers buy the tool this way when they already own Milwaukee batteries and chargers in the M18 system. If you would like to purchase the tool with a battery and charger, the correct model number is 2625-21.

I did not get a case. I bought the tool only because I already have two batteries for other tools. I believe you get a bag if you buy the saw and battery.

It depends on the application and preference. The Hackzall will fit better in right spaces. However, the Sawzall will allow you to get a better grip on the tool and apply more force. It will also be a bit stronger.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 69 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice tool for your collection Great one handed operation. A little heavier than it looks. Not many blades specifically made for the unit but the sawsall ones work well with the unit. I use the larger batteries so if you have some smaller ones that may lighten it a little. August 2, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool My husband loves this product, got this for him for Father's Day! He's used it once so far and he's very pleased. July 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use and light weight The saw was easy to use and fits well in my hand. I wish they would come out with a FUEL design,FUEL design appears to have power and the batteries last longer. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Tool Size makes it easier to work with. Ability to attach blades both ways is a big plus. July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Milwaukee Sazall This is the 2nd Milwaukee Sazall that I have owned. It has been a very durable saw...high quality. June 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This saw will let you down and the Milwaukee Custumer Service will not call you back. I have bought two of these saws in the past four years. The first one lasted about a year an half. I took it back to Home Depot and they sent it out to be fixed at no charge to me. I didn't know they were not a service center for Milwaukee tools at that time. Well it worked fine for about a year and i took it back to Home depot again. Well i couldn't be with out a saw for the few weeks it would take to have it fixed. So i let them send it out and the bought the second saw that day. A month later they said my saw was ready so i went to pick it up and they tried to charge me $120.00 for fixing it, i said no keep it. This is when i found out they were not a Milwaukee service center. I thought i must have got a lemon saw so i went on with the new saw and it was fine for only a year. I call Milwaukee this time and they give me the service center Information. I take it to the local place in town 3 weeks go by no call. I call them and the Parts are on back order and its going to be three more weeks until its fixed. I am not happy so i called the Customer service place for Milwaukee and told them my concerns and ask for someone to call me back they said a supervisor would call me back. IT NEVER HAPPENED!! A few weeks go by so i call back again. I tell them the Problem. I have bought thousands of dollars of Milwaukee tools over the last few years. I worked hard for the money to buy Milwaukee Tools. For the record i like Milwaukee tools. But they have not called me back yet. and its been 3 months with out my saw. I am $600.00 in the hole on 2 of these saws DO NOT BUY ONE. What good is a 5 year warranty if the parts are going to be on back order and i am with out my saw for months. July 2, 2016
