Answer:
there is definitely an odor, it smells just like new tires (probably because they are recycled tires). I installed mine outdoors and it took about a week before the smell was gone. Indoors will probably take much longer.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in our 12 in. x 12 in. Slate Rubber Deck Tile. This product does have a slight odour, but the smell usually dissipates 2 weeks after manufacturing. Generally, it takes longer than that to reach stores, so there should be no smell by the time you get this home. Thank you for your inquiry.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, easy installation The decking installs and looks great as long as you have a completely flat surface. Any irregularities and you'll have high spots in your tiles where they snap together. Mine looks great. September 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product but over priced at Home Depot To cut the tile, score and break it. I used the tip of a linoleum knife to score it. Use a hacksaw to cut through the edges after scoring. Much easier than trying to saw it completely though. September 5, 2015
