I installed 2 of these on 2 of my toilets. They are very nice, there is adjustment on the flush volume for the main flush and the small flush.
I also have installed the FluidMaster's dual flush kit, but it started to leak around the valve, and the toilet is refilling about every 20 mins. This Danco one does not leak (if you install it right).
It is a little loud on refilling because newer kit doesn't have the small little "J hose" any more. I did cut a little bit off the blue hose to divert the refill port, and quite it down a lot.

I bought this due to the "universal" label on the box and I really wanted a no-nonsense repair kit where I wouldn't have to sort through pieces and make 3 trips to the store.
When I got home, I made it halfway through the installation when I discovered that this unit IS NOT UNIVERSAL. The toilet I tried to install this on is a Mansfield model which has an entirely different flush valve than most toilets (see photo) The flush valve is a unique tower piece which sits directly over where the toilet flapper usually goes. This repair kit requires for there to be an offset pipe which supports the new flush valve.
For a Mansfield toilet, you have to remove your entire flush valve and reinstall a new overflow pipe before you can install this kit.
While this unit may work great, I can only write a review for the pieces I was able to install and the fact that the product has extremely misleading advertising.

I have struggled for years with an old toilet. This kit was easy to install and made a world of difference in the operation of the toilet.

While it installed OK, it doesn't stay seated. Now it leaks and refills water tank every 10 minutes. No adjustments fix it. No one liked the flush mechanisms. Its been two years now and I wish I had not picked this unit. Go. Fish!.

I don't normally write reviews, but after less than a year with this piece of junk I hope I can at least save someone else's time. Let's go through what you might think once you get this beauty home.
When you open it, you may think, "Wow, there are way more parts to this than I have ever seen inside of a toilet tank." That is your first red flag. This is all made of pretty-looking blue and white plastic, with moving parts hidden inside. You really don't know what it's doing. And it's flushing your toilet.
When you get to the part where you have to secure a pretty major piece to another pretty important piece WITH A TINY ZIP-TIE, you may think to yourself, "Uh oh, I just cut that zip tie off because I thought it was part of the packaging." YOU ARE WRONG. IT IS HOW THE THING STAYS IN YOUR TANK. Second red flag.
When, a mere month down the line your toilet starts running all the time and you look into the tank and realize you have no idea where to even start to adjust this thing - hey, that's your third red flag!
By now, of course, you're too far into the game to just give up. You, intrepid DIYer, will not be foiled by a silly toilet tank repair kit. So you find yourself celebrating when you find the problem: that stupid zip-tie you had to replace after cutting it has somehow broken, and you have to REPLACE IT AGAIN.
After replacing the zip-tie one more time, about 7 months down the road the clip that holds the water tube will have fully broken, and water is squirting everywhere. At this point, far outside the window of Home Depot product returns, you will finally give in. You will rip out this ridiculous contraption, the one your wife always complains about, with glee and abandon - until you realize you wasted 26 bucks on another piece of "revolutionary toilet technology."
Please, don't wind up like me. Just pick something to fix your toilet that you understand from the get go.
DANCO - there is a point at which innovation becomes innovation for the sake of it. Congratulations, you've reached it.

Please note, that while the description of this item says "no tools required," that's really only partially true. You can install this item pretty much without tools, HOWEVER...
You will almost certainly need tools to remove the existing fill valve, etc. And that's no small thing.
In fact getting the old stuff removed before installing this, was a MAJOR part of the job for the three toilets in my home, particularly in my case removing the coupling for the fill valve at the bottom on the tank. Took me at least a half-hour for each toilet!
Now, that's not the fault of the manufacturer of this item, but it's something you need to know going in, that it's not like a five-minute job here.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jai Great produt and greater customer service
I purchased and installed it on Dec, 2013. It has been working without any problem and saved tones of water until last month. I found it starts to leak due to worn flush valve seal as you can see the attached photo. The seal had a big bubble where a torn spot remains when I saw it first time. I contacted Danco and they sent me a brand new whole kit not just a seal. What a wonderful service! I noticed that the material of the seal was changed with more durable silicon. Hopefully it will last much longer than old version and I can get the seal with right price somewhere.
