Answer:
Hello,
This is a very tricky question. You really need to start with what appliances you want to run and then work backwards to determine the right battery, inverter, controller and solar panel size. There are many great calculators on the internet that will help you determine size. You can try to search for solar panel calculator.

Answer:
Hello Anita,
To determine wattage of battery you will need to know your amperage before finding a definite answer. Normally most batteries and 40W solar panel can run small household items and devices.

Answer:
Hi Frank,
That will not be possible to plug a light directly into the solar panels as our solar panels are for off-grid type purposes. You may attach outdoor light to a battery and use the 40W panel to charge your battery.

Answer:
You'd need some additional components like an inverter and battery - assuming you want to run an outdoor light at night. Then the battery could power up during the day and discharge via the light at night.

I want to charge a 48 volt battery and run a 48 volt system. I will also need an inverter from 48 volts to 110. Will these panels work in serial? And will they work with other controllers?

Answer:
Hello,
The short answer is Yes, 12V solar panels could be wired in series to product 48V, but the Amps remain the same. All Nature Power products, panels, inverters, controller seem best to be used together as 12V system.
