Installation was easy. However, I took several days as I was having fun. I also took pictures along the way and sent them to my friends with black aluminum posts to brag about what I was installing.

Easy to assemble, great instructions and looks great. Unlike our old wooden one it will not rot or need to be painted.

We love our new light post. Our neighbors love it so much that they want me to install one at their house. But the installation was easy, they can handle it.

I could not tell from the online description that several pieces had to be assembled with vinyl glue. In addition, the base piece was cut at a crooked angle which required putting the crooked end into the concrete.

My 91 year old mother was very excited to receive this post and have me install it. It replaced a 50 year old wood post. This post is high quality (thick) PVC. It looks great and was easy to install. I used Quickcrete to set the internal wood post. It will not come down in a hurricane. I strongly recommend this post. Be sure to buy the right sized lamp. A small fixture will look lost. Home Depot has some good options. I chose a black square fixture which was perfect.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DAB A handsome light post.
Pulling out my old cedar light post was easy because it was mostly in a state of dry rot and most of it I removed with my Shop-Vac-master and an added extension tube. Poured one bag of sackcrete around the pressure treated 8'X4"X4" post support (added wood sealant to bottom half) and. It's solid the next day.One other note; Mfr. should include a small tube of silcone sealant.
