I really like the popcorn this machine pops. We use the pre-measured packets with coconut oil on one side and pre-seasoned kernels on the other side. These can be found on line. Since the kettle is small, when the kernels start popping, many of the kernels spill out of the kettle which results in a lot of un-popped kernels. If the kettle was larger (deeper?) the kernels might not escape so easily. The other nuisance is because of its size, it's tight cleaning the inside after use. Even with these detractors, the price point makes it an excellent value compared to a larger machine. Since we typically only pop a single batch, it works for us.

I order this product for my son's 7th bday circus theme party. We had rented a cotton candy & snow Cone machine & this pop corn machine was going to go great with the theme. The night before I took it out of the box to get familiar with the machine. My husband & I read the instructions,we heated it up, put the oil, corn seeds and all of a sudden we hear a awful sound like a struggling, forcing sound. It sounded like a seed was stuck not letting it spin in the middle. So I grabbed the handle trying to shake the can gently so it could start spinning and nothing happened. The can was just getting hotter and you could see the smoke getting darker so i grabbed the handle & started shaking it up & down which you can't really can't do much since the hole is so little for the handle to fit then it started spinning and the corn started popping. At this point I was so mad I had spent so much money on the product and some pop corn was already burnt. So I decided to give it another try. I re-read the instruction thinking I did it wrong. But no, I did everything exactly the same. and It happened again. It wasn't spinning, it had the same sound,I grabbed the handle and moved it to dump the corn out and the metal that attaches to the can and handle (which is "welded") comes off. I gave up. The next day I went to Smart & final and bought a big bag of Pop corn and had to use their popcorn. I wanted to have fresh popcorn for my son's bday party and because of this machine I couldn't . I'm very unsatisfied with this popcorn maker. I really want my money back . Oh and another thing it was also missing one of the rubber caps that goes on the foot.

Excellent product for the money. Comes already assembled - you only need to put the kettle in place and screw in the crank handle, both of which are very easy to do. Having the removable kettle makes cleaning easy as well. Takes up minimal space, but holds lots of popcorn.

I bought this popcorn maker for a party, it's very easy to use and easy to clean up. It's even better than I thought it would be, I'll be taking out this popcorn maker and using it at many parties in the future. The old fashioned look and tasty popcorn made it a big hit with my guests!!!

First, the product showed up and the plastic door where you open to put the popcorn in was broken and did not stay on when opened. Second, the item did not work after letting it run for 30 minutes.

I will start with the positive-popcorn is fresh and crisp. My positive ends there. The maker showed up, I unpacked, and the ketttle was loose, so it scratched up the display door. One of the lids on kettle was bent, but easy to fix. I have used several times, wanted to use for fundraising for our corporate charity. Tonight, after preheating for 5 minutes, at 6:31 I started popping, no lag time between batches. At 7:45, I was done with only 3 batches, each batch taking longer than the one before it. I have almost 1/4 cup worth of unpopped kernals, out of 3/4 used. Would have been nice if they had added recipes for kettle corn, etc. LOVE popcorn, disappointed in product.
