CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expected The sample that I received didn't look like the picture. I didn't like it after I saw the sample. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Color Easy to put down. Easy on the eyes. The color works great with my clear coated oak stair rails. January 7, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just okay It says that this is available only online, but my local Home Depot stocked it. This is the Presto line which has a low price point compared to some other choices. Product was installed on concrete with moisture barrier/pad. Product snapped together (not engineered). First what I liked: Nice color, fits with my decor. What I did not like: difficult installation (you have to be extremely careful when attaching one plank to the next or you will damage the laminate). What can happen is that some of plank material can chip off when tapping 2 planks together. The result of this is that that chipped debris pushes into the adjacent plank and forces the laminate to bulge or raise up. On one plank a small piece of laminate (about 1" long and 1/4" wide) broke away from the surface. So, I naturally wonder about the long term reliabilty of this product. In my opinion, I think this might be okay in a low traffic area, such as a guest bedroom. This was installed in my master bedroom. One thing during installation that seemed to help was to try and remove any debris between planks before that final tap to completely close the joint. In summary, I liked the color, hated the installation, and wonder about the reliability. Note: I'm no stranger to tools and how to use them - I custom build wood furniture for a living. In retrospect, I wish I had spent more and purchased wood flooring rather than the laminate. November 17, 2012
