Product Overview

The Pest Offense Electronic Indoor Pest Control system is simple to use and safe around family and most pets. The patented system sends electronic pulses through the wiring of the house to drive pests from the home, so they can't feed or nest there. Random digital cycling prevents pests from adapting to the pulses, and one repeller unit is effective for one level of an average-sized home. To use, just plug the unit into any 110-volt outlet and let it go to work. A surge protector safeguards against voltage fluctuations and the indicator light doubles as a handy nightlight. The repeller is also EPA registered, FCC compliant and UL listed. It is safe for dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, reptiles and hermit crabs. It is not recommended in homes with hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, minks, chinchillas, tarantulas and other similar pets.

  • Proven efficient on mice, rats and roaches
  • Easy-to-use electronic pest control without hazardous chemicals, pesticides or traps
  • Rids home of mice, rats and roaches by sending electronic impulses through home wiring
  • One unit is effective for one level of the average-sized home
  • To use, just plug the unit into any 110-volt outlet
  • EPA registered; FCC compliant, UL listed
  • 4-watt unit costs less than $10 a year in electricity, but can save hundreds a year in dangerous pesticide sprayings

Customer Questions & Answers

Do it work on getting a mouse that's already in your house out?

Can't use a cat cause I'm allergic
Asked by: Benz
20 years - We had NO MICE with this product, inside OR outside of the walls, that is until devices finally died after 20+ years (Twice life that manufacturer claims). As to the claims it doesn't work, they may have been plugged into power strips /surge protection - that is incorrect and negates the design features. These must be plugged directly into wall outlet. Just my experience - when I find a product that works I buy it again, and that's what I did in this case. Now rodent-free once again.

does it work on ants?

Asked by: Annie
No it does not work on ants. I have had this installed for over a year and had multiple ant infestations in the same room that this device was plugged into the outlet. The ants came up through the wall in the middle of the house. It clearly does not work.

mites in the carpet all over the house
Asked by: giddygoo
Thank you for your question the PEST OFFENSE does not work on mites and will not affect things outside the walls. The device is intended for issues nesting within the walls of your home such as mice, rats and roaches. Thanks

Electronic Indoor Pest Control is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 246.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far So Good We placed this product in a newly constructed small vacation home near woods and water. After several months we have yet to have any insects or unwanted animals evident in the home. We were told that the area is a haven for spiders and we see spiders and ants all around outside the home, so we wanted to try to keep them out. So far, this product seems to be working effectively. The only negative for us is that we don't need the night light feature, we end up partially closing a door to keep the light from bothering us at night. We do appreciate the other small lights on the product that are designed to let us know it is working.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The cat and I love it. Love it! No bugs, no pesticides, saved money, and bonus feature of a nightlight. I saved a lot of money, and the environment, by buying this electric bug chaser, compared to using pesticides. Pesticides cost more money for a year's protection. Better for the cat and me: if the cat gets a bug who ate the pesticides, it is not healthy for the cat. Eventually, I would clean up after the pesticides, and they would end up in our watershed after putting the washing water down the drain. So, it is healthier for me, the cat, and the watershed.. I am running it in my kitchen and in the upstairs bathrooms. I also installed a sound based electronic rodent and bug repeller in the garage at the same time. The nightlight is green, and unobtrusive, and I would prefer blue but this is a bonus IMHO.

After too many evenings of seeing a mouse run out from under the couch, and too many traps that the mice were too smart to get caught in, we opted for Pest Offense's electronic device. We were attracted by the concept of sending electronic pulses through the wiring of the house, to repel pests even at a distance from the electronic unit. Although they claim one unit is sufficient for one floor of an average size house, we purchased three (for a small city apartment) -- and we're glad we did. Even with three units for 750 square feet, It took a couple of weeks before the mice finally decided to stop visiting us. Fair warning: if you use it in the bedroom, the indicator light (which also serves as a night light) is fairly bright. We found it disturbing, so put black electrical tape over it; so far there doesn't seem to be an issue with overheating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pest Control Device It has gotten rid of a lot of my problem. Not totally gone but 99% of the roaches are gone now. I see a few. I will be purchasing two more in the near future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far, So Good. I Recommend It's simple and easy to use. I have seen or heard anything. I ordered two just in case but the one covers my whole house. Can't say how long it will last yet but since my purchase, it's going pretty well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These things work I have 5 of these through out my 1600 sq ft house. I know that they work. When I put the 3rd one in the house, a mouse ran out into the middle of the living room and started just leaping into air. It was very confused and did know what to do. Apparently, this product causes extreme irritation mentally to the mice. We have not seen another mouse inside the house. As far as the service from Home Depot, everything was shipped quickly and the staff at the store where I picked it up was friendly and efficient.

Ours finally failed after 20+ years, and that's when the mice showed up again, after having no trace of them in that period. We immediately bought new replacements. We also like the nitelight and that there's no blinking red light or noise like some of the other brands make. They are rated effective for 10 years, which - at least in our case - was very conservative.
