CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by These lights do not last! Not a Home Depot problem a design problem. I am stuck using these overpriced lights until i get a different type fixture. My wife uses them throughout her business office as well with the same results, overpriced and undervalue as they burn out quicker than normal bulbs! January 8, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by BURN OUT FAST BUT AT LEAST WE GOT A REFUND The first bulb went out in seven months, another went out a month a later, and the replacement we took from the box went out in a day (our fixture uses four bulbs). And we don't use them even three hours a day, which is Philips' basis for a 2.7 year guarantee. I called Philips, and they are sending a refund check. But what are we supposed to do, let the bulbs keep burning out early and calling for refunds? On the other hand, we bought a cheap brand before Philips, and three of those burned out in a couple of months. It seems that manufacturing for these products (in China) is shoddy, and you get the luck of the draw with this kind of bulb. The Philips rep told me about how the bulbs get jostled around on their way in from China and at stores, etc. Sounds like a pretty poorly conceived kind of product in the first place, no matter what brand you try. We're going to see if LED's last longer (they are of course much more expensive, but...). September 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 50-Watt Halogen MR16 GU10 Twist Line Dimmable Light Bulb (6-Pack) We have purchased this brand before and found the product to be very efficient and long lasting. We use these bulbs in our light fixture above the kitchen sink, so it is very important they last as long as possible. August 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Dimmable even though the specs on this site say "no" to dimmable, they are, per the Philips Consumer Customer Service. December 28, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Really Get HOT These lamps really get hot to the point that the chrome delaminated from the bathroom fixture housing. I am shopping now for a lower wattage lamp or possibly even an LED lamp. LED's are so expensive. June 3, 2014
