Wood Window Sash Spring is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prime Line Wood Window Sash Spring The Prime Line Wood Window Sash Spring is easy to install and works every time we open and close our old double hung windows. We don't have to prop up our window with a piece of wood or break into the sash to replace ropes on counterweight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product works, but not in all situations. This product has worked well in some of my windows, but not all. In some cases the nails provided for installing the spring weren't sufficient to hold the spring in place. I found that using a longer wood screw provided more support to keep the spring in place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from they do the job I got these to use in place of the sash cord and weights that were originally designed for my windows.although I love the cord and weight system,I didn't have time to replace them in all 8 of my windows. The weight system allows effortless opening and closing of the windows, where with these springs, you have to use a little muscle to get them open, but nevertheless, they work
