When installing this fan, you can operate all three functions separately. This will require a three function switch (P66W). That was the main motivator for my purchase. Needed to replace the old fan, which had stopped working. Had to enlarge the ceiling drywall opening a bit, as this is a larger fan. They should really have a disclaimer for these fans, as some are really designed for NEW HOME construction, as this one is. It has metal tabs on the frame which are designed to have ceiling drywall placed over them (or butted up against them). So if you're remodeling, as I was, you may have to bend these tabs to make them fit through the ceiling opening, as I had to do (I had to go up in the attic to do the wiring, and drop the fan DOWN into the ceiling opening...JUST enough room between ceiling joists, which gives you an idea of how large this fan is). It also has a nightlight feature, and the bulb for this is not included. I didn't need that feature, and didn't wire it in. The other 2 lights are included, and throw a nice amount of light. The fan itself is relatively quiet, and really sucks a lot of air in a hurry...much better than my previous fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet fan Love the speaker. Wish to run them separately as no option for the speaker off and can on

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Quiet, Needs wider cover to seal installation. This is a very quiet exhaust fan, with well enough lighting. The only drawback is that the cover is too small to seal the installation opening. I only cut a large enough hole in my existing ceiling to install with very little room to maneuver. There is now a gap between the ceiling drywall and the cover which will need a gasket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bathroom Fan With Light and Nite-Lite This is the most efficient ceiling fan that we have used to date. It was easy to install. All the parts were supplied within the box to install the fan. This was a replacement in our case. I did have to place a new electric feed to this unit to have the fan and both the nite light and normal use light to operate properly. A new control switch was also required to operate all three items. The unit is very attractive and very quiet. The control switch has to be purchased seperately. This fan has easily removed the steam and vapors from our bathroom and it is the first fan that has kept our mirrors from clouding up. We would recommend this fan to anyone who is looking for more power (CFMs) and to also have a great looking piece of equipment/addition to their home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Exhaust Fan The unit was straightforward to install. The fan itself was very quiet however overall quietness has a lot to do with how you duct the vent. My unit had 4" exhaust hook ups unlike the 6" reported in a previous review. Does the job really well. Be sure to get the triple switch to operate the fan/night light/light individually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fan! SUPER quiet; moves a lot of air; light brighter than the 75w can unit it replaced and draws less energy HEADS UP: It has a six (6) inch discharge not a four (4) inch as stated in the directions. I had to make an extra trip back to HD to get the correct venting parts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This fan finally cleared the fog from the mirror! This bathroom fan operates efficiently and very quietly. I would have given it a 5-star rating but there were no "rough opening" dimensions given. This made it to replace an existing smaller fan and numerous cuts had to be made.
