i've always wanted this durable orange hose for my vac, but it was expensive. when my original, black hose went busto after 3 years or use, i was excited to but this pro hose.
-super flexible. like a giant orange wet noodle... or something.
-its longer than the original hose.
-hard, yet flexible fittings hug and grasp the accessories better than the solid plastic ones. i found the plastic fittings get worn as grit particles scrape away as theyre inserted hundreds of times during their lifetimes. this hose doesnt have that problem.
-i imagine the corrugations inside the hose will cause turbulence and may rob power from the vac, though i didnt notice a difference in power. experiments are needed.
-this hose is rather pricey. it was actually more expensive than the vac itself but i was lucky to get my vac during a one-time sale (9 gallon for $39.95)
amazing quality, but is it worth the high price? almost, so 4 stars

it'll hook up to the shop vac but all my tools that fit my shop vac won't fit I can't add it to my old hose for 17 foot then it'll work I might bring it back and order the 20 foot for only 24.95 or buy more add ons to add onto the hose to extend and get my tools to fit

The hose ends are two different sizes. 1-/1/2 and 2-1/2 I think. You cannot configure with both ends with the bigger size as the original hose. It has a two 2-/1/2 PC for the ends but not two ends that size for hose fittings. I see I can get coupling kits but not the parts that go on the hose.

with this hose I no longer have to keep stopping and re-adjusting the hose. it does not bind up and stop the vacuum from working. this is the best thing I got for the vacuum thus far.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DPrice Good, could be better
Compared to the hose that comes standard on the Rigid wet/dry vacuum that I purchased this product is superior. It is longer and more flexible than the standard hose. I have not used the standard hose, but it appears it will not withstand hard use. It is made of rigid plastic and could be crushed or cracked under the right circumstances. The universal hose comes with two adapters that will allow its use on any Rigid model vacuum cleaner. I have been told this hose will probably adapt to the Craftsman vacuums, but I have no knowledge of that. The only problem I have with this hose is it won't stay attached to the steel wand of the heavy duty cleaning kit I also purchased. It keeps sliding off after a few minutes of use. Perhaps I haven't found the correct adapter for it. If all else fails I'll duct tape it on. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. All around it is a very good purchase.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by pbsoko Could be a lot better; hose is way too small.
The hose itself is much harder than the original hose that came with the shop vac. This one will not collapse and will retain its shape. However, that is where the benefit ends. This hose is much narrower; this is quite limiting.
The larger hose allowed bigger items to "tumble" their way into the canister, whereas this hose is too narrow to allow that so the items just get stuck.
For instance, when cleaning around a plan table there are lots of "post it" notes lying around. They get stuck in this hose. Yes, a little crumpled post it note cannot make it through this hose w/o getting lodged.
The idea is good, but the size is not. The usefulness drops considerable due to this. I rate this 2 stars because of this and would not recommend this to anyone that plans on using their vac a lot.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jafo It's a hose, what's to rate?
Seems to direct the stuff into the vacuum cleaner, wish I could have bought one a little longer. Seemed kinda expensive also in comparison to the price of the shop vac. What are ya going to do?
