Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by wranglerwoman I've had the Ridgid 4 gal. vac for quite a few years and have used these bags from the beginning. They eliminate a messy clean up situation and save the filter. My only gripes are their expense and volume. Since Ridgid advises to keep the filter on the vacuum while using the bags, the volume of debris that can be collected is limited. The filter is quite large, as are the bags, and it obstructs the the bag from filling to its potential. They are also rather expensive. In the end, I'd rather use the bags than deal with the mess, but I have been tempted at times to go commando and take the filter off.

Works well as far as collecting dirt but causes a reduction in vacuuming power. Ended up eliminating the bag and just used the filter. It collects in the canister do it works better now.

I have never had a wet or dry vac that used bags, so this is a first.

The bags mean I don't have to clean out the shop vac every time I use it (bags are for dry use only). The directions are for a different vacuum, but I persevered and the bag eventually fit just fine.
