Deck Liquid Armor Resurfacer 2 gal. Kit Water Based Sandstone Exterior Coating is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what is promised Decking product fills holes, cracks and gaps above expectations. Tough to apply with a roller and get all the nail holes adequately filled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent wear, holds up to abuse I would use this again if I ever need to cover a deck in future. 2 weeks after application our home was flooded and entire deck was submerged beneath rushing water. When the water receded, 4 inches of creek silt was left with other debris. We also had to remove entire contents of basement & the mud from there using wheelbarrows, dolleys and such. After all that abuse, scraping the mud and pressure washing there are just 2 spots that need touch up from the wheelbarrow gouging the wood itself. The texture gives slip resistance and look amazing. I am so impressed how this held up and would recommend to anyone -worth every penny and then some!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth Reading I went into this "Restore" job on my deck a little quickly and learned quite a bit in the process. It looks fine now that I'm "done" but I can't comment on longevity or even how it will look in a year. Read the coverage chart closely - 2 gallons cover 25 sq. ft. for two coats. I had 300 sq. ft and it took several trips to home depot to get enough. So, it's quite expensive and in hindsight, pretty near the cost of new pressure treated wood, if you DIY. Another lesson learned - it goes on very thick; this isn't a paint, but more like a glue. It comes with a special roller in the 2bucket set, but not in the 4gal container. I bought some of both, because both containers have advantages. This restore is best applied by two people. It thickens fairly fast, even still in the bucket, so you need to apply reasonably quickly. And because it takes a lot, I just ended up pouring it on my deck and then spreading because I was working solo. The supplied roller leaves it a bit bumpy. I tried a different roller also and that worked okay, though not as smooth as a brush. But the secret is to be generous with the "Restore" and quick. The instructions say use the roller on the first coat and then, if you want a smooth look, use a brush on the second. I did agree and using a brush did give a smoother texture, though mine didn't look as smooth as the display. The reason, my wood wasn't perfecty smooth at the beginning. I ended up doing 3 coats. The first two sucked up the "restore" but the third got better coverage. Again, recommend going fast because it starts to get sticky fast. Drying time - It stays sticky for at least a day. I got some rain a day later after the first coat but it didn't hurt it any. But I was afraid. Best to wait for a reasonable chance of good warm weather for at least 48 hours. Overall impression is that it covered in the blemishes and looks kind of like a trex deck now. It is a little sandy and gritty, but looks fairy nice. It ended up costing about $1.25 a sq. foot and took me 3 days of applications, although as I got the hang of it, I could do the deck in 2 hours. I'm more neutral on a recommendation. I put yes, but it will depend on how it looks in a couple years. And if I have to apply more next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from re use old decking and nobody will know i've used this product 3 times and i am very pleased with the results. it is easier to apply when the deck is in the shade. I rolled it on then went over it with a brush . 2 coats. it filled all the cracks and screw and nail holes. i have been recycling decking and you can't tell the new from the used. if the boards are too close together i run a scraper between them to create a visual line. the directions on the box and the included sheet are not the both

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for splintery wood. I used this old an older deck. The deck looked like brand new when I was finished. My only complaint is that it took a lot more Paint then it said it would. I have a twelve by ten foot deck and it took four gallons just to do the top of the base boards
