Answer:
It is ideal to have a level foundation. ie. sand, pavestone, etc. If the grass area is fairly level it would be OK to put it there. The obvious is that the grass will die. If the shed is in the open and you have more than moderate wind make sure you have enough weight, anchors, in it so it doesn't blow away. The unit is very light. Good Luck!

No, it won't fit in the trunk. The best way is to use a pickup.

No, it won't fit. The box is about as big as the product itself. You would need a pick-up truck to transport. I had to have mine delivered and I own a GMC Envoy.

Shed was already put together. We had to disassemble in the store to get it in the Durango. That was somewhat a challenge since there were no instructions with the unit and the store employee, although helpful, didn't know any more than we did.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 118 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for trash cans This was just what the doctor ordered for my trash cans. It holds 2 30 gal. cans with room to spare. The original purpose was to keep animals from getting into the cans and making a mess but now it also stores trash bags, small broom and a dust pan and there is still room. The assembly was easy and only took a few minutes. I have another shed similar but taller that I have had for almost twenty years and still in great shape. A very good buy. August 16, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best storage unit ever Easy to assemble, and very versatile, great size for what it is being used for... Great product August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great shed! Bought the shed to house my garbage pails. Two larger pails fit without difficulty. Very happy with this purchase August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What I thought it would be. Perfect fit for my purposes The shed was easy to put together (maybe 29 minutes) and when I modified it with pegboard it is very versatile and functional. love it. March 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly engineered product I purchased the product as an "Condo Association allowable" outdoor storage unit for my beach house. It warps easily in the sun causing misalignment of the door panels and roof consequently the doors fall off. It does not provide adequate protection from the elements, insects or animals as a result of the engineering issues. In fact, I have had to reinforce the door assembly with steel rods to keep the unit in tact. I have always felt Rubbermaid was a reliable product, this has certainly changed my opinion. Suncast makes a similar product but a bit more expensive; given the choice I would buy the Suncast. June 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plenty of space I use it for pool supplies. I'm thinking of getting one for my friend Samantha. I would recommend. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great storage shed Fantastic and good-looking outdoor storage shed. Sturdy (although it felt a bit iffy as we were putting it together) and seems to be waterproof. Plenty of interior room and I like the 2 front doors. Didn't give it 5 stars because the metal rod that's supposed to keep the top up doesn't work very well at all! February 23, 2016
