Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jason Good solid totes
These totes are the only ones I don't destroy. The 4 pack offered the best value. The only negative is that they were not built to be dragged on concrete. I have an older one that wore through after a couple of years of sliding across a swept concrete floor when I loaded and unloaded it. I don't think any tote is really designed for that kind of abuse. I have since stopped sliding them across the shop floor. JS

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mainemama Generations of Use
Bought these as a gift requested by my recently wed son. I am still using ActionPackers that I purchased in the 1980's and hope my son will pass
the trend along. They hold up well, are easy to pack and handle rough service like moving, camping, fishing trips, long vacations and beginning life at college. We may be the first family to start a generational trend!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HeyTeacher31 Stands up to our Troop year after year after year!
As a parent of two Eagle Scouts, I am a veteran of many, many, many campouts. I have a great deal of experience with shuttling boys and camping and cooking and patrol gear. Our troop was using these boxes when my oldest joined the troop at age 10 in 2000, he is 24 and in grad school now. The troop was still using the same boxes when my youngest earned his Eagle in 2012. And, they are still using the same boxes now! We have added some new boxes as the troop increased in size and we added additional patrols, but expenses are voted on by the committee and as a member, I cannot recall ever needing to replace any boxes! And believe me, these boxes get knocked around.
Each patrol has a designated and usually pretty heavy Patrol box (for pots, pans, dishes, etc.) and a staples box (for non perishable food items. (Yes, each patrol also has a cooler for the perishables, but those are from a different company!) The boxes can get pretty heavy and the younger, smaller scouts drag them across parking lots and camp ground sites and crash them into and drag them over and around things and occasionally remember to two person carry the heavier boxes. The older and larger scouts just pick them up and toss or heave them into the back of pick up trucks, van, SUV's, cars, trailers, etc. with ease. The boxes stay tightly closed, and the contents survive in surprisingly good shape, especially considering the "careful" handling they receive from pre-teen and teenage boys! I can honestly say that these are very durable containers!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Charlie Reasonably good product however the bins do not stack or nest with each other.
These bins do not stack, that is nest on top of each other which is a very significant disappointment. The locking handle is a good feature and something that influenced my purchase decision. The top is good quality more so than the bin itself. A sturdier bin structure with a bottom that mated to the top of another bin would make these far more desirable. They will work OK for my application, however that said they would be superior if indeed they could be stacked. I was planning to order several additional bins, but will not given the limited use on only on a single layer flat surface. My recommendation of this product is limited given their limited versatility.
