Fine woodworking dust makes my epoxy painted garage floor very slippery. Can I use this product to resolve the problem?

Once applied will the floor become too rough to vacuum with a shop vac?

12 oz. Anti-Slip Aerosol Spray is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too Soon To Tell I was looking for a product to use around a ceramic tile pool deck. In a sample application it seems to work fine. The surface has a slight rough feel to the touch but nothing is visable. If it holds up to the weather the product will be great. The spray can does not go very far but I seem to get at least 20 sqft coverage with a can. A light coat seems to be adequate. I've found nothing else like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great!! We remodeled our home and tiled all the outside patios with tile. When dry it seemed rough enough but when it rained it became slick as glass. Due to other reviews we tried this product and are so happy with it. It is easy to apply dries quickly and is holding up nicely we applied it in march. We live in florida and will see how it holds up in the heat and rain. It feels like very fine sand paper if you walk barefoot on it but it does not change how your tile looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it Says! We stained our outdoor wood deck and while it looked very nice, it ended up as slick as glass and super treacherous to walk on. We were pretty terrified of slips/falls, so we bought this product and it improved it immensely. The result was that the deck was not as "glossy" as before (the product is clear/transparent, so the color of the stain shows through but leaves things looking a bit duller than before - at least in our experience) in appearance but overall the improvement was totally worth it and no more fears about slipping and falling. Only con: VERY strong smell but it does wear off in a day or so. Since we used it outdoors, it didn't bug us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worked better than I expected We have a stairway in our house and the treads are made of oak. They were a bit slippery, especially when wearing socks. I found this Rustoleum product online and decided to give it a try. I did one step first and the results looked great. We have a polyurethane finish on the oak. And adding the non-skid finish made it a little less glossy and a lot less slick. The visual difference is pretty subtle and I don't notice it unless I'm looking for it and trying to catch it in the right light. We've had it on now for a couple of weeks and it seems to be wearing pretty well. I taped off and sprayed a two inch wide strip along the front edge of the tread. The only downside is the smell is pretty strong so you should plan on airng the house out after using it. But it clears out in a few hours. Overall I'm very happy with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safety First! We needed something to solve slippery condition on our porcelain porch and steps. After researching we decided on Rust-oleum. Very easy to apply; works great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Peel Sprayed on ceramic tile on front porch, which has a roof to protect from Canadian winters. worked great during the winter, did not have too put any sand on the steps. Have now found this spring that it is peeling and the tile looks terrible. Sure you have a money back program, the only problem I have know, is what to do with the tile too get it back looking like it did before I put your product on? Followed the instruction, cleaned tile, let dry 24hrs and sprayed on a 25c day and we let it dry for two days. What Happened?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Great! Easy to use and puts down a nice matte film. I feel very secure in my shower now. Odor is quite overwhelming and will last for days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for coatin a small ballet floor I needed to coat a small ballet floor which was made with Laminate Wood on top of plywood. The Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Anti-Slip Aerosol Spray worked just fine. It did not seem to hurt the flooring finish. Also, don't need much. Where spots resulted in too much friction, I simply wiped it a little with a rough rag or ultrafine sandpaper. My little ballerina does not slip and slide any longer. Other coatings specifically recommended for dance floors were too expensive and came in 5 gallon sizes and had to be shipped at a cost. Rust-Oleum worked just fine though.
