Answer:
You just have to keep in mind that the wood may draw the paint in and you will be able to see the grain or the knots of the wood. Cheap paint usually does not have as much pigment then paint at this coat and I would think that you would be ok overall.

Answer:
It is always best to use a primer, however many of the modern paints do very well without a primer.
It is your choice. If your wicker is exposed to weather and sun you are better using a primer first. If it is used indoors or under a protective cover you will be happy with a good quality paint that says it is a primer and paint.

No. It works fine without it. Even going from dark brown to white. I also painted bare MDF on the airplane that I made.

This product is an oil based product and has a lot of fumes. The microwave won't hurt the paint after it has completely dried however you are going to smell and taste the thinners in the pain for a long time.
I don't recommend it.

Answer:
You will need to do several coats to cover the black.
This paint covers better than most however putting white over black is rather difficult. Start with a very light coat and keep adding light thin coats allowing several hours of dry time between coats at room temperature.
Good luck

Yes, you may paint your tool white, you may need more than one coat to completely cover the black.

Answer:
Not the best choice.
If your bird likes to bite the wires on the cage then this paint could be toxic for the bird.
If your bird does NOT bite the wires on the cage then go ahead but let it dry for several days in a warm room or put it in the warm sun.

12 oz. Gloss White General Purpose Spray Paint is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected. I purchased a Rustoleum primer to refinish a table and was very pleased with its coverage. It took one can. I decided to spray the table with the Glossy paint product to give it the traditional glossy finish. I followed all directions. This product covers VERY unevenly. I will use the other choice of Rustoleum glossy paint, not the 2x coverage. It's just WAY too thin. Based on the other reviews, it sounds as though I am not the only one to experience issues with this particular product. Wish I had read the reviews first.

The can says even works on plastic, so I thought I would spray on some sunburned vinyl vertical blinds. The coverage was good. I had no dry dust problems. The problem I do have is the after smell. It is lingering. The blinds in one room look pretty but it smells like paint in there. Is this odor toxic?? I want to use in the kids room. I am spraying outside and letting dry there as well. I also had a black color come out, first,of several cans and I returned them. Is that weird?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Purchase! The paint did not adhere to the wooden frame of furniture. After application waited for the paint to settle, then observed bubbles on the surface of wooden frame. Due to this i would not recommend this product nor would i repurchase. Also, it takes a couple of coats to get full coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exellent People need to understand, not everything is to be spray-painted regardless of how you prep, the state works absolutely perfect for simple projects like mirrors, picture frames, indoor projects. Dries extremely fast with two coats. Cuts project time in half.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ruined simple diy project Zero stars! There is obviously an issue with rustoleums white spray paint!!! I have used their paint in various colors for other projects..even today i had another piece i was painting with key lime color, no problem! This is my worst spray paint job to date and i pride myself on being good at spray painting!!! Never have i had such a problem with dripping, sand texture, crackling..all of the things other reviewers are saying! Didnt think to read reviews in advance because, as i said, never had such a problem! $8 for paint, $17 for chair that i loved!..now have to trash it all or spend more time and money to strip and try to salvage. Beyond angry and disappointed!!!
