Answer:
Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Clear does dry to a clear finish. For proper performance and clarity of the coating, apply one light coat first, and then apply the second coat heavier (after 15-30 minutes).

I need to seal the HVAC ducts that are located in the attic. It is very hot and humid in Houston, the ducts were installed very poorly without taping or mastic (old house). To properly seal the ducts in the attic will be a major project. Can this work for another 2 - 3 years?

Answer:
Interesting question, David!
LeakSeal Clear Spray is intended for sealing cracks and gaps from moisture, not as an insulator. However, it is suitable for use on duct work.

Answer:
Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Spray Paint is not designed to withstand constant submersion of water. For this reason, we do not recommend using this product on fountains.

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It doesn't work I sprayed as suggested several times on my car roof and several days later when the rain came initially there was no water, i was happy and then only to be disappointed the water started coming in again. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SEALED LEAK IN POOL WATERFALL GREAT! I have a rock waterfall on the edge of my pool which had developed some small leaks in the mortar holding the rocks together. In the past I had patched these leaking seams with pool putty, but this time decided to try LeakSeal after seeing an ad on television. THIS STUFF WORKS! After shaking the can vigorously for over one minute (which is important), I sprayed an initial light coat on the mortar where the leaking cracks were and waited about two hours before applying a second, heavier, coat. 24 hours later when I turned the waterfall back on, NO LEAKS! I couldn't be happier and this was a very inexpensive fix to a frustrating problem. June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It did the job. I used this on an aluminum watering can that had rusted in the bottom and had tiny holes. I sprayed the can with a few layers and it sealed them nicely. It dried a milky white but it did not matter. No more leaks. June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great! I have a metal watering can that rusted in the bottom and caused little holes. I sprayed the Leak Seal in several layers on the inside and outside of the can. I really love the way it sealed up the holes in the can. It also feels and looks like rubber. Can does not leak AT ALL!! June 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for outdoor fountain leak I bought this to fix my outdoor fountain. When I filled it this year, it had a serious leak. I cleaned the inside, since I couldn't tell where it was leaking, I sprayed the inside with 3 coats. It seems to be like new. Much cheaper than a new fountain. I give it a thumbs up! May 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stuff! Used on top of fireplace chase and the intermittent leak hasn't returned in the three or more years since. Also used it on another intermittent roof leak that had to be repaired before the interior repairs could be done. Again, no issues and repairs are underway. In contrast to an earlier review, using the spray makes a broadcast application possible and you don't have to identify the source of each potential leak. Sorry, no pictures! January 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked for me So we noticed where our deck meets the house water was coming into the basement. As a stop gap until i could get the contractor out to have a look, I grabbed some clear leak seal. Sprayed it where the deck meets the house on the top and into all the holes and nooks i could find. Low and beyond 2 rain storms and I cant detect any water in the basement. It was easy to apply, applied very evenly and i didnt even need to mask off the doors. Of course this is temporary as i have to get the flashing checked but for now for $10 bucks it did the job! Might try it around the bilco doors that seem to let in a little moisture as well and see if that works. Will update soon! May 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worthless Product Bought this product to patch a hose leak and soon as turned water back on it popped right off !!!!! January 2, 2016
