The piece that holds the blade on broke, its a specialty piece that you cannot buy seperatly. So the tool is now compleatly useless.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JL price difference
The tool itself is satisfactory. My main reason for buying Ryobi was I already have many Ryobi tools, so the battery fit another tool in my collection.
The problem came when I went to the HD to buy it. The HD website said $59, free delivery or free in store pick up. I drove up to the HD to buy the tool. It was $69. I couldn't access the web to show the manager the price variance. He gave it to me for the lower price. I wonder how many other items are like this?
Anyway, I'm off to HD to show him the web site price (i printed the page to bring it with me).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Drummy Model P570
I just purchased the newer model, P570, and tested it on some 1" x 6" off-cuts of cedar, Douglas-fir, and pine, and some 5/8" gypsum board.
PROS: Good weight; well balanced; powerful; smooth, straight cuts; excellent sanding; feels rugged; adapter included for Bosch and Drimmel accessories (see photo).
CONS: The wood-cutting blade will soon need to be upgraded (typical with most new-saw purchases) because it requires plenty of accuracy-compromising "persuasion" after a certain point.
A few reviewers were having issues where the battery is connected. Ryobi may have addressed those issues with this newer model, but not sure. My batteries install easily and have the typical "play" (1/16–1/8"), with no signs of wear. I hope my photos help here.
This tool should serve me well for years to come, with high-quality blades.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BennettCKM many uses
I bought this 2 months ago for one project and have found other uses no problem. Light and easy to hold in any position. Easy to control as the vibration is not crazy or awkward. I've used it to cut wood and metal as well as the sanding attachment.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PF20165 Handy tool for small jobs
I bought the Ryobi Multi-tool because I needed a tool to speed up the the odds and ends of trim work I was doing, plus I have other Ryobi tools. I was able to sand edges and cut small pieces to get my trim fit in about 25% of the time it would have taken manually.
Pros: Comes with a nice starter kit of blades, sanding head and sandpaper, etc., good power control
Cons: Sometimes the tool angle felt awkward, but since the head can be locked in different positions it may just take practice to get more comfortable.

I've had a corded one Harbour Freight for years and never had any problems with it: but, I decided to give the cordless one a shot and picked this due to the fact I already have some Ryobi tools and batteries. I only used it twice once to cut about 20-30 linear feet of 1/2" sheetrock and was using it to score some backer board when it broke. The little universal adaptor broke into 4 little pieces. So far, the best replacement part I can find is a $3.00 replacement part with $6.--+ shipping. In another words, that's 16% of the total cost of the total tool.
I been using Ryobi tools for years and I always felt you got your money's worth out of them; however, not so much anymore. I purchased a drill and impact set just over a year ago and both of the triggers are giving me trouble. The both triggers look a lot alike and both do the same thing, variable speed one second and full speed the next. I haven't bothered to check the cost of replacement to the fact I've thinking seriously of changing brands. If I hadn't just purchased this tool, I'd junk them all... not a happy customer or should I say former...
