Just did a major basement reno, and this kit has made the task easier and more efficient. The impact driver had the biggest workout, and had NO trouble sinking 2.5" and 3" standard construction screws into 40-year old dried-out joists - has held up very well over the course of more than a thousand screws. The drill has performed equally well, and I compelled to refute the negative review posted below - these things have plenty of power. Once I added the belt-clip accessory the HD person recommended, these two items easily measured up to the Ridgid drivers I had previously borrowed - I would recommend one improvement, which is to incorporate a 5 second delay on the LED so that you can have light when not actually driving.
The other tools have also lived up to expectations, and the multi-tool has been extremely handy. Battery life has been great, and the recharge time is surprisingly short. These tools also seem to be sufficiently rugged, as a couple of mine have survived a six-foot fall onto concrete, and suffered nary a scratch.
I highly recommend this set to the value-conscious renovator.

This bag of tools are by far a grate deal for the price. I'am building 22'x22' porch/deck in my front yard with a 28' handy cap ramp using the saw, drill & driver drill and have not had a problem I give it a two thumbs up.

I purchased this kit about one year ago. I have had no trouble from any of the items. I have used all the items (except the torque driver) and am very pleased with the purchase. It is so much nicer to have the cordless tools. I have since purchased the trim nailer (18 GA) to install new baseboards around the house. I intend to add the radio, lantern and hand-vac soon.

My co-workers were trying to talk me out of buying Ryobi but I did some research and bought them anyway and I'm sure glad that I did. I work on professional and personal projects with these tools and they perform great! Just take care of them and they'll take care of you. Some of my co-workers even wanted me to pick-up a kit for them after seeing how they performed.
- The multitool itself is an amazingly versatile tool. With the adapter for Dremel and Rigid attachments included, this piece alone is no joke.
- The circular saw is awesome. The laser can be adjusted pretty accurately if you got a soft touch. But I still eye my cuts anyway just to make sure, you never know when a rough cut might knock the laser out of alignment.
- I'd put the drill and driver up against a Makita any-day. Once you get used to the variable speed they will impress.
- The reciprocating saw performed exactly as expected and it's pretty lightweight to boot.
- The flashlight ain't no LED but it's not bad at all in my opinion.
The only thing I would advise is to get at least one of the bigger batteries. That plus the two included and only a half hour charge time will keep you working all-day. And at the price point of this combo-kit why not.

First off, it's hard to find a power combo kit with a multi tool. This one has it, and Ryobi is very good with the little details. Both the drills have LED lights, and both of them has a clip on the bottom that holds and include a basic drill bit. All the blades are included for the saws and the multi tools. The charger is a 30 minute quick charger (vs. the standard 1 hour in other kits), and comes with Lithium Plus batteries (vs the standard Lithium Ion). Those upgrade itself makes it superior to other Ryobi combo kits (I was also trying to do the math to see if I was getting a real value). The little details really make this kit a top notch kit. The tools feel solid just holding them. The multi tool is compatible with Rigid heads, which can make this tool turn into pretty much anything you want. Highly recommend this kit.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Matt Great Product. Well-built and comfortable to use.
Got to this product to fill the gap in my tool collection and to give myself some battery powered options. It was very affordable so i thought i'd give it a try.
My first impression when I opened the box was that these were surprisingly well built for the price point. I was glad to see this. The shape and comfort of the grips reminded me of a bosch drill that i own. I would say these are medium-duty, great weight and portable.
I was very pleased to see that even the small details, such as hidden storage on each tool for the adjustment wrenches, was thought about...i always lose those things or never have them with me when i need to change something out (ie saw blades).
Cut and assembled a medium-sized entertainment center with these tools this weekend. They held up well, durable and great battery life.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DIYNewb Refinishing shooting table
Just bought this kit last week after reading alot of reviews and weighing the pros and cons. I bought it mostly for light duty, around the house and property use.
This weekends project was an old ratty shooting bench that needed to be refinished. We didnt get extreme but added a few more features and ergonomics the old bench just didnt have.
The first tool used was the sawzall to cut through the unreachable bolts holding the seat to the sliding frame, needless to say the blade cut for about 20 seconds than snapped. I should have known better than to use the factory blade and had left my other bimetals at the house.
After that I used the impact driver to remove some old rusty bolts holding the old ply and seat frame. Zipped them off like they were butter, was quite impressed with the driver.
Next we started cutting the 3/4 for the new seat mount and benchtop with the circular saw. Factory blade and small battery did plenty of cross cuts across the 4x8 plywood and some 2x4 cross beams, but battery didnt make it through the job (did keep swapping it into impact / drill/ multitool) I still would like to get the biggest lion+ bat though and new blade.
Mounted everything , used the impact to drive them home. Made short work of 2 1/2 deck screws and 3/8 carriage bolts. The impact is the must own of the bunch. Used multitool to sand and carve initials into benchtop , nice little tool would like to get some more heads for it.
All in all I am happy with my purchase, worked great the first time out would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a great tool kit for a good price. Cant wait to tackle another project with the tools.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dmoney Owned for 2 years and added on!
I started out with this set two years ago and have since added on a few more tools. Everything has worked flawlessly. With 50 plus tools in the line up at great prices, you can easily add in the right tool for the job when the time comes. I've done flooring, trim work, a kitchen remodel, and various landscape projects with great results. Spend the money you saved from this set on Diablo blades and two larger 4ah batteries and you'll be just fine. Buy it!
