Metal panel. Seems durable to me. There is a rubber piece in the hole where the nozzles fit to keep them from falling out. I hauled this in my trailer and didnt have any nozzles fall out so I was happy with it.

Answer:
Metal to metal connection (brass). There is a plastic piece on the end of the nozzle and each nozzle has a different color. The plastic piece is durable and I think it's there just so you have plastic on the end of the sprayer in case you bang it into something.

I wouldn't see why not? I see the professionals use a downstream injector with bleach and have no problems. I don't think people realize with a downstream injector you're injecting chemicals after the pump. No bleach is going into the pump..

Depending on what you're doing you can use Oxyclean or equivalent instead of bleach. That can be wiped or spread on your target and then pressure washed off. Found good results and it is safer and better for the environment.

Yes, its like anything else once your done run your normal detergent through the system, by doing this your purging out any residue that might be left. I have been doing this and have never had a problem with my power washer, but if you still don't feel comfortable use a 50/50 mix and repeat the process above by purging your system.

I would not run any bleach through this machine. Try to pre treat the area with a solution of 50% water and 50% bleach, give it a few minutes then use pressure washer to spray off. You may need a ladder to get to those hard to reach areas. I had trouble with high areas of my pool cage and this trick worked like a charm.

Lou,
It is a professional machine and most Pros and Semi- Pros don't want the soap tank attached. They want to suck the soap out of the jug that it comes in since there can use multiple soap types for different applications and don't want to keep cleaning and emptying out soap tanks. I hope this answers your question.

This pressure washer does NOT have an onboard detergent container, however it does have a siphon hose for detergent (not bleach) that when using the black nozzle will draw from you own container i.e. bucket. It works just fine.

MegaShot 3,100 psi 2.5 GPM Gas Pressure Washer Powered by Honda is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 863.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Excellent Borrowed my buddy's Simpson power washer to strip my deck and clean my cedar siding in preparation of staining. His unit is older and 2500 psi. I was so impressed I started looking for a Simpson with 3100 psi and a Honda engine. I found exactly what I was looking for at Home Depot online at a great price of 399.99, however, before I could decide to purchase it went on sale for $ 379.99. I bought it right away and couldn't be more pleased. I use it to clean tractor, aerator and all my garden tools and my Polaris RZR after muddy trail rides. Phenomenal unit very pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problems in less than 30 days !! Had high hopes for this unit.....put oil in, bought quick connects, fresh gas, and started up on 2nd pull ! Cleaned driveway, sidewalks and patio. Some observations: did a good job in cleaning; excessive vibration, likes to walk around a lot. Big negatives: backfires thru muffler at shutdown; leaks oil, checked bolts...were tight. I think it was pump oil. Returned to HD on the 29th day and ordered a Generac 6602. I did not want to risk running the gauntlet with Simpson CS. It costs too much to risk something that may not perform. Ordered a Generac. I know the Simpson was a lemon. Hope the 6602 works out better. These days, you pay your money and take your chances !!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Maybe Works fine. HOWEVER, I have a puddle of oil underneath every time I use it. Called Simpson, their rep said it's Honda's problem. Waited on hold until call dropped. Re-contacted them via email. No response. That's a problem. Busy at work, so haven't dogged them any further, BUT, should I have to? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honda GC190 MegaShot 3,100 psi 2.5 GPM Gas Pressure Washer Had it delivered to my local Home Depot store (to make sure no one steals it off my front porch). The box and pressure washer where in perfect shape. Just followed the quick start instructions (also read the instruction booklet from front to back while drinking my coffee at StarBucks - take time to read the booklet because there are some very important operating instructions you need to follow or you can damage your pressure washer and yourself). It started in two pulls and I spent the next hour power washing the side of my house (getting ready to paint it). This has plenty of power and is easy to use with just one person.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful We enjoy having our powerwasher. This one replaced one almost like it and it has worked out just fine. My biggest complaint about the gas models is that they are difficult to start. The sprayer should be running on in the one position which makes it harder to do two things at once so we use a clamp to hold it on while starting. The starting is still harder than I would like. After about two pulls my arm is done but my husband does have a problem with it. Also, the holder for the tips is cute but it doesn't work well- the first tip shook out within the first 10 minutes. I would put them in a bag or you will loose them!

This was to replace a very old Craftsman washer and I have used it to wash our driveway. Came in perfect condition, was easy to set up and after filling with oil, gas and hooking up water it started on 4th. pull. I used it over a two day period and after the initial start up normally started on first pull. Pros: Easy set up Easy start Quick connect tips Great cleaning power Cons: If gas tank is filled up into the neck it vibrates some gas out, which on a wet drive will look a lot like oil coming out of the unit. After I realized what was happening, I made sure not to fill as full afterwards and that resolves the problem of gas vibrating out of the gas tank.

Setup was easy and straightforward. Installed the handle, filled with oil, assembled the parts, and started the engine. The engine took about 5 to 6 pulls before it started. Once started, the engine performed well. The unit is easy to maneuver but there is a fair amount of vibration; so much so that the unit tends to "walk" and the extra spray heads fell out of their holders. Be sure to remove the spray heads and store them in a secure place before starting the engine. With the exception of the vibration; the unit performed flawlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Unit Nice unit...easy put together right out of the box. Original unit damaged when assembled by what appears to be Home Depot before shipment (they apparently get Simpson part and Honda engine and assemble themselves so as to sell at best price on market). Phoning Customer Service at 7:30 Friday evening was excellent with reshipping a new unit, many apologies and a slight discount (brought original one to store next day and got refund). Unit appears top notch (spray tips can vibrate out of their nifty little holder...beware) and with a nice Honda engine I anticipate it will last quite some years with light homeowner use as a Honda engine on a 20 year old generator is still going strong. Well done Home Depot on internet ordering and customer service.
