The frame on this saw will flex significantly to the left when high tension is applied to the blade. Then you battle the saw frame and blade alignment to make a straight cut. You might say that too much tension is applied but that is incorrect. Hacksaw blades need high tension to cut a straight line that's why the better saws will apply up to 50k psi. Save your money and buy a better saw. This is OK for course hacking but even a bit high priced for that. It is not for professionals.

Saw is lightweight, sturdy, and gets into all the places I need. Unfortunately, the blade that came with it would not cut straight, no matter how I adjusted it. Changed to a new, better blade, and I've been making true cuts ever since.
